Mercury Dasha

Hi All,

I have combust Mercury in the 4th House with Capricorn as the

Ascendant. The position of the other planets is as follows:-

 

Jupiter: Saggitarius (2nd House)

Venus: Pisces (3rd House)

Sun & Mercury : Aries (4th House)

Ketu: Taurus (5th House)

Saturn & Mars: Gemini (6th House)

Moon: Libra (10th House)

Rahu: Scorpio (11th House)

 

I have started Mercury Maha Dasha. What kind of effects can I see

in the Dasha of a combust Mercury? Are the results necessarily

harmful during the dasha of a combust planet or there can be

beneficial results too? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Amit,

You cannot just have an analysis based on Rasi postion. Navamsa and

other divisional charts are equally important for subtle matters.

Mercury Mahadasa is a very long period.

 

You can look up the archives, Earnst Whelman has given a chapter

from his book for the effects of various combust planets.

Amit,

 

We need your navamsa chart to make a fair assessment

of you chart. Also, we need the nakshatra positions

of your planets. We need the position in degrees to

determine the nakshatra sub-lord to determine the

effects of Mercury during the dasa.
