Guest guest
Dear sirs, Regarding the rules of Jyotish, I would like to ask you, whenever is possible for you to answer, to throw some light over my doubts: 1 - Regarding Snapha yoga: Even that Rahu and Ketu - as the rules say - are not included to form a "Snapha yoga", Ketu in the 2nd from chandra, does not deny the meaning for wealth, as long as Ketu is considered dettached from material gains? 2 - Regarding the concept Bhavat Bhavam: Knowing that "the 12th house is a house os spending or loss; then that the 12th from a particular house is negation (loss) of that particular house" - Why should the 7th house - 12th from 8th (that means longevity) - deny longevity, as long as the 8th also means death. Could not this 7th denys death too? I thank you very much! Yours faithfully, Lúcia do Vale
Guest guest
Sunapha yoga as you enquired is among the yogas formed by placements of planets surrounding Moon and the Sun, others are Anapha, Dhurdhura and Kemundram. In the moon type yoga you are not to consider Sun and Rahu Ketu whereas in the case of Sun type you shall not consider Moon. Reasons are clear. Sun is the significator of Soul, Moon is the significator of Mind. Andplanets surrounding these Sun and Moon will show the type of Soul and mind. If no planet is surrounding the Moon then the combination is Kemundram. Our carnation in this body is due to moon or say mind. If no planet surrounds this mind then the person is recluse. No desire of the material things and to work. The yoga is called Kemundram. There is fall of this yoga when some planet among Jupiter, Venus ,Saturn ,Mercury or Mars is in angles from Moon or joins to moon. Ketu does not deny material detachment always . Transit of Ketu over your natal moon may provide Vehicle to you. These combinations reminds us that our birth is due to our hunger for achieving some supremacy in some elements of nature. Same is represented by Panch Mahapursha Yoga. In them Sun and Moon are not considered but other 5 planets are given due consideration. Now about 8th house, 8th is the house of longevity or say age. Because termination of age is death , so some times we call it house of death. Its termination by 7th is correct and 7th is called Marka ,not the house of death. So 7th is negation of age ,not death. Guest guest
Mrs. Lúcia do Vale, An individual planet, say for example you are under the period of a planet , which is a strong significator of 8th house , like say in Virgo ascendant and in own constellation ; 7th lord sub period or the planets signifying 7th or 2nd house and jointly planets signifying ascendant will point towards death, if the longevity also conclude the same. If one is under the Main period of a planet which signifies health that is ascendant then the sub periods will denote as per their significance that the result is sound health or sickness. Badhka lord , Malefic as per Parashara or Markesh in the period of Planet signifying Ascendant will cause fall of health .. Subject to the condition that this Ascendant signifying planet should be week or afflicted. I think you got my point. The explanation about the 7th house as being marka, and denying the 8th house, I understood it too. What to me is a bit difficult to understand, is that as you said: Being the 8th house, "the house of longevity or say age", ...."because termination of age is death, so sometimes we call it house of death" : I ask: Then I shoud not consider 8th house anymore for death, but for longevity, is it that true? If so in this case I can easily consider the 7th as denying longevity and not denying death. I thank you so much your kind answer. Guest guest
Dear Inder Jit Sahni, Thank you again! Yes, you gave me an explanation that made clear what I was looking for. I must tell you that I really have to feel everything you said. I always believe that to me thoughts, sometimes, disturb the real teaching or instruction. In my opinion, to feel is always better than to "know". So, I prefer starting feeling what you said inside myself, and it sometimes takes time. Although I understood what you said, for me sometimes it really takes a time to digest. I thank you from my heart you very kind and patient instructions. They were really useful. With Best wishes, Mrs. Lúcia do Vale. - Inder Jit Sahni gjlist Friday, January 25, 2002 7:07 AM Re: [GJ] Doubts Mrs.
