Dear Marcia,

Except for the controlling sex thing, it is totally right on. Now

how did you get that information? It sounds so accurate as to be

amazing. It was a class on nakshatras, you said? Where was this class

given? By whom? I am relieved that it isn't all bad. The entanglement

in others is so true about me.

Ok. Are there acts, or remedies that mitigate these tendencies?

Or does one just realize they are there and try to live a life of

correct (authentic) direction?

Thank you. Could you give me some background about your path in

astrology. I am just like "c". I study and read and I still don't get

how to look at a chart and see anything. What I get is a lot of pieces

that seemingly contradict, and can never become cohesive enough to form

anything to predict.

Dear Chris

This info was from a class I took with Dennis Harness a couple years

ago.

It is helpful to have this info, altho i think it's true, that it feeds

my western mind

with its need for psychological profile.

I have yet to tie in all the different details with regards to

predictions, and I too get bogged down with all the

different rules and ways to read the chart....ie: lords, nakshatra lords

and

sublords, dristi, yogas, neecha banga, AND THE LIST GOES ON.

it is a full time job trying to keep up with all the info.

i'm not even working right now and i have a hard time. LOL

i think some of it has to do with karma too.....i picked up western

with no problems at all, but vedic is a whole different ball game.

afflictions

to 5th and 9th house.

take care

Dear Marcia

I can't email you privately from your message but would be willing to help you

make some sense of the transition from West to East if you are interested. I

was where you are. Once you stop trying to memorize and really work with a

chart, Vedic is actually much more simple than western. In fact, it is rather

like the sleek lines of Danish furniture. Once you get the simple beauty of

Vedic the chart unfolds in a rich and deep manner. Western is always going

out. Vedic is going in (at least the way I practice it). The western chart is

read counter clockwise and spiritually is reaching out into the heavens. Vedic

is read clockwise and seems to bring the insights of the heavens down deep for

clarity. I may be in the minority, but the foundation of Vedic is very simple.

Which planets are hanging out together? Who is a friend to the chart? What

cycle are you in now? Look at the dashas not as events but as life evolution

and it will begin to gel. Feel free to contract me if I can help. You can

find me at www.cynthianovak.com
