<<No. I don't understand the dashas at all, or nakshatras, or how planetary

rulerships of constellations work except when it comes to working out a natal

chart in a basic way. Even when I take a direct event from my own life, and

track it back to the dasha/bhukti that was running then, it doesn't make sense.

Here we have 2 problems. One of them is the learning and the other is the teaching.

 

While learning we may read many books and have many teachers but still we may be

confused. Then one day, all of a sudden, we find the answer. How that

happens?, it is a mistery.

 

Regarding the side of the teacher, he/she may try to teach with different ways

and still the student may not understand. Then one day, the student suddenly

gets the point.

 

Every student knows his/her ways to learn, the answer may be very easy but even

so, the student may not find the answer.

 

Little by little, the real student will gather enough experience and knowledge

to the point that he/she can learn more quickly. But later on, when that

student needs to become a teacher, he/she may find out that the path followed

so far does not fit the paths of his/her students.

 

Then the teacher finds that he has to find a path to show to his students and

that it can be a very difficult task.

 

Astrology can be easy to learn or teach but also it can be difficult to learn or teach.

 

The student should not demand easy ways to learn because, 1. There may not be

easy ways to learn and 2. With that demanding attitude we will never learn.

Every student may have a different way to find things and therefore we may have

a different key for everyone.

 

It took me about a year to understand the mistery of the dasas. I used to read

books and i could not get it, the more books i used to read, the more confused

i used to get. But suddenly, one day, things are revealed.

 

We live in the middle of this material energy which is full of ignorance

(tamasic). That energy interferes with our lerning. The more we interact with

that energy, the less we will be able to learn.

 

Many years ago i remember that when i was working in a cloth company, i used to

go back home tired, and i just wanted to relax. I did try many times to learn

or study but my concentration was not there. I had to wait for my body, mind

and spirit to get relaxed to the point of being alert enough to get any new

subtil knowledge.

 

To know how to work out a natal chart is the beginning and it is great to be on

that level. You can try to teach others how to do it and you will see that it

may not be easy. Some may learn quick and others may not. It is like that, a

mistery.

 

In this list we have many students, some very advanced and others just

begginning but we all are learning. The material energy may get some of us

many times but our intuition of astrologers will tell us how to get rid of the

impurities and how to grasp the best of knowledge.

 

It is not an easy task, the material energy is there to defeat us but we must

try to succeed. Impurities are likely to come out but eventually this list

will give rise to very good astrologers.

 

Many things may not make a sense to us in the beginning but in the end

everything will be clear. Our intuition is telling us that we are on the right

path and one day we will be rewarded.

 

Once upon it time i thought that this list was like the gathering of many

astronomical obsevatories from around the world, sharing with all about new

cosmic findings, encouraging others on their paths, trying to correct others on

their mistakes, supporting collegues against the external attacks, morally

supporting others against adversities, sharing success or failures, but all

together learning about the misteries of the sky.

Instead, i am finding a list in which many times we see the frustration or

failure of some. I know that it is not a nice thing to see but it is expected

to see in sensitive people fighting against the external and inner material

nature.

 

If we fall, we should get up. We have been entrusted as astrologers to help

others, so lets to learn how to do it.
