Guest guest
Dear Andrew, I too have exalted Venus as yoga karaka, only rather AQ lagna, mine is Cap. I have a theory that exalted planets don't just toss goodies at you like getting trinkets from a Mardi Gras parade. Instead, the native must learn to be active rather than passive. Exalted planets appear to be rather passive to me. With Ex. Venus we want what Venus represents: love money compassion, but it must be earned. I find that the core of exalted planets' essence, here it would be Venus in Pisces essence is compassion. Venus to open the heart and Pisces to find a way to extend it from self to others. The letting go quality from the final sign. This gets even more obvious for those whose Venus lies in Utar Bhadra, the serpent of the deep, which requires deep soul evaluation before Venus give you the goodies, or Revati that requires that you surrender your will to that of the divine. These are easy words to say but difficult. So, if you were my client and I found the great losses in your Venus periods I would ask you what you have to give. The antidote for loss is generosity because no matter how little you have you can find someone that you can give to. Venus is about love and compassion, not merely about money so inorder to receive her bounty you must actualize he in your life. If that does not come as easily as mental actions or dire predictions, then you find you particular knot to untie. When Venus feels unloved she must learn to give love. It is very simple and opens the doors. It would be so simple if we were passive players, just waiting the act when we get the goodies as prewritten into the play. I just donot see it working that way. I see so many clients who "should" have a relationship come in but they are blocking it. A powerful Jupiter transit can bring the potential, but without actualizing the self it is a mere shell and my in fact be missed. cynthia - Andrew Lynn gjlist Monday, January 21, 2002 2:01 AM Re: [GJ] RE BHARANI Dear Cynthia I have Venus exalted in my chart as atmakaraka. I know the power of Venus very well. Being exalted doesn't exactly make it benefic - in fact Venus periods have spelled great disaster in my life. Venus is 4th and 9th lord-Yogakaraka. Exalted Venus has brought exalted misery for me in its sub-periods. Andrew [Andrew, if your reading this IS cynthia] Once I sat with 3 women. They asked me to do a session helping them find a way to be creative and somehow work together. One was Moon in Bharani, the 2nd Moon in Purva Phalguni and the 3rd in Purve Bhadrapadapa. As you know all 3 are governed by Venus. It was an intense and exhaustive session, and something I will not do again. I say 3 faces of the goddess and each one intense and determined. I came out of that session with the understanding that Venus was not a 2-dimensional caricature as often portrayed in Greco-ROman mythology. She has the courage to go to the underworld, the power to give birth and the pleasant demeanor to make anyone comfortable with gracious hospitality. I guess I really don't care what planet rules which mansion in fact, I am more interested in the character of each and I see the 3 as manifestations of a powerful feminine goddess energy. OK, remind me that Venus is a yellow-eyed, red faced man. But don't forget that Venus is the planet that has the ability to go to the underworld and rise to the heights of spiritual compassion. Now, Andrew, if you want to trash something I wrote go for it! cynthia - Nicholas gjlist Sunday, January 20, 2002 11:15 AM Re: [GJ] RE BHARANI Dear Natabara That was my point .Mars always rules Aries(as far as I know) but Venus does not always rule Bharani . I thank Savant for his/her points and now leave it up to the list members to decide for themselves . Interesting that Bharani has produced the most argument : - ) Professor Humbug - natabara GJlist Sunday, January 20, 2002 12:08 AM [GJ] RE BHARANI Professsor Nicholas you <<I am not of the opininion that Venus truly rules Bharani .In other dashas another planet may be assigned Lordship of Bharani. >> me Could you then tell me the real rulership of the 12 signs of the zodiac? <o:) Best wishes Natabara DasOm Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya; Hare Krishna; Om Tat SatTo , send an email to: gjlist-http://www.goravani.comYour use of is subject to the Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya; Hare Krishna; Om Tat Sat: gjlist-http://www.goravani.comYour use of is subject to the Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya; Hare Krishna; Om Tat Sat: gjlist-http://www.goravani.comYour use of is subject to the Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya; Hare Krishna; Om Tat Sat: gjlist-http://www.goravani.comYour use of is subject to the
