Guest guest
The discussion on transiting trines has given me an idea on how to possibly? resolve the dilemma of using true or mean nodes especially in transit. The difference between the D9 true and mean node will usually be significantly different. Eg 1*natal difference = 9* difference in D9. Given that the D9 transits have significance in the natal chart, exact varga degree positions should also be relevant. It will need many charts to test but for anyone who would like to try it on a few charts, the following is proposed. 1. Pick an event where there is strong nodal involvement eg unexpected events/encounters 2.Calculate transit D9 mean and true node 3.Look for close D9 nodal degree connections to relevant natal planets using true and mean node (This could also include sensitive points such as eclipses,PNE's, cusps etc) 4. See which fits best Regards Ron Send FREE video emails in Mail! http://promo./videomail/
Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ------------- Dear Ron & List, The Navamsa-transit Method you have mentioned is popularly known as Bhrigu Transits. It supposed to be used alot in Nadi Jyotish, and also Jaimini makes a small reference to it, so it must have importance. Its also known as "Rasi-Tulya-Navamsa" Method. Zoran, a Guru of SJVC, has written some articles using these methods here; http://sjvcusa.org/Articles/rtn.htm And here: http://sjvcusa.org/Articles/d-9_gochar.htm Regarding Aspects; Tajika Jyotish may interest you, as it uses most of the Aspects used in Western Jyotish, as well as some more tools such as Annual, Monthly, etc charts. Come to think of it, Tajika Jyotish is very much akin to the Jyotish practiced in the West. However you must understand that trinal positions share the same dharma. I.e. they share the same objective. Thats why the 1st, 5th and 9th in a persons chart shows their dharma and ideals, which will help them through life. Planets in quadrants from each other, may not like each other, but will work together. Theres a fundamental understanding to the Neecha Banga(cancelation of debilitation) concept in these lines. Do be sure to read up on the difference between Rasi and Graha Dristi, or atleast meditate on it. Best wishes, Visti. _______ Get your free @ address at
