badhakesh is defined as the karka or the planet in the horoscope that

is obstrucitng your growth in accordance to the pplacem,ent of the

same. for example for vrischika lagna which is a fixed lagna moon is

the badhakesh as moon is the 9th lord for it.

 

see remember

 

for moveables signs like aries, cancer, libra and cparicorn, the 11th

lord is badhak-the planet that is the obstructor

 

for sthira(fixed) lagna like taurus, leo, scorpio and aquarius, 9th

lord for the respective lagna is badhak or the obstrucotr

 

for dual signa like gemin etc the badhak is 7th lord.

 

 

the problem with badhak is that this planet obstructst eh house

signification shwereh it is posited. like for scorpio lagna if moon

is in 10th, there might be success in career but after facing a lot

of obstacles.

 

the badhak will be more badhak(more obstructor) if he is retrograde.
