Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah! ----------- Dear Nicholas, Where did you hear that Badhaka is not for birth Jatakas? Actually when describing the results of Rasi Dasa's, Parasara stated to look at the Badhaka sthanas. Now do you think Rasi Dasa's are not for Birth Jatakas? Regarding Kendradipati Dosha, it only happens when a kendra isn't associated with a lord of a trine. It just means that it won't bear fruitfull results as it hasn't coupled with lakshmi(trikona). Its not a evil Dosha, it just can't bear much results at all. Where did you get your clear understanding from? Best wishes, Visti. - "Nicholas" <jyotish108 <gjlist> Tuesday, January 15, 2002 8:38 AM Re: [GJ] Mercury as Badhakesh > Dear Partha > The concept of Badhaka is not used in Jataka (reading of the birth > horoscope) . Guest guest
Dear Visti! I agree with you totally. The Kendra's are Vishnu Sthanas and Trikonas are Lakshmi Sthanas. And the Kendradhipati Dosha gets cancelled when the Kendra Lord combines with a Trikona Lord forming one of the Raja Yogas. Guest guest
Dear Visti I guess what I was referring to was the more common jataka reading which consists of delineating the natal chart ,Vimshottari dasha and Gochara .In some cases the badhaka is the 9th Lord but Parasara is quite clear that the 9th Lord is most auspicious so it does not fit to make it the badhaka . If one uses rasi dashas to delineate the natal chart then what I said is not true . Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah Dear Nicholas, The 9th lord can be the most auspicious planet, even thou it becomes badhakesh. It just shows that whatever auspiciousness that comes, must come with some problems. Hence those people with Sthira Rasi's as Lagna, and have Raja Yogas created by 9th lord, will no doubt have a selfless contribution when it comes to their Raja Yoga. We had a discussion about this on Vedic-Astrology list, very recently. You can use Badhaka sthanas effectively in birth Jatakas, and without problems, if you understand the indications. Sanjay Raths; Vedic Remedies in Astrology, is living proof of the same. Best wishes, Visti. --- Nicholas <jyotish108 wrote: > Dear Visti > I guess what I was referring to was the more common > jataka reading which > consists of delineating the natal chart ,Vimshottari > dasha and Gochara .In > some cases the badhaka is the 9th Lord but Parasara > is quite clear that the > 9th Lord is most auspicious so it does not fit to > make it the badhaka .
