Purusottoma, i belief that you want a talk on mundane astrology. Here i am

giving some curious charts to follow mundane ot politival trends.

This is a chart that i am following with interest.

 

In fact i took 12h02'25" from the time that Bush Jr said Amen. But does not

matter much the seconds because the ascendant is the same.

 

I feel that this chart is interesenting and that it indicates a date and time

when American Presidents achieve power. I did some research and found that by

law this date became a must since 1937. Assuming that every president take the

power at around the same time, i did find the following hoping that students of

vedic astrology can expand on it.

 

I am giving the name of the president getting power every 4 years since 1937.

Perhaps lovers of history can shed some details about this trends.

 

Below i am giving in columns the rising sign of the chart for that inauguration,

next is the house position of the ascendant lord, following the position of the

moon in houses and last you have the number of the constellation.

Out of 18 charts only one has Pisces rising.

 

The chart for 2001 has Mars lord of the rising sign in the 7th house indicating

the posibility of being attacked by the opponent (ruled by the 7th house).

The 7th rules foreign countries, wars, frictions, disputes, foreign relationships.

 

Only 4 charts out of 18 has lord of rising sign in 7th house. They are

Roosevelt in 1937 when the 2nd world war started under his presidence,

Roosevelt again in 1945 but this time is Jupiter the lord of the ascendant sign

and not Mars. Perhaps, Jupiter in the 7th helped to achieve peace soon after.

The 2nd World War ended on 7 May 1945. Roosevelt died while in office on 12

April 1945.

 

The next Mars in 7th is for the chart of Nixon in 1969. Soon after being sworn,

Nixon started the infamous war on drugs which has killed many people in

Latinoamerican countries, corrupted many people in power, killed earth with

powerful poisons and draw their poor peasants owners to join the militia to

have something to eat. To date many leaders in Latinoamerican countries are

signing petitions to get out of the contract for the war on drugs. They did

find a loophole on the contract and that is way Canada was the first country to

get out of it officialy although the mexican president already said enough.

 

The chart for Bush Jr has also Mars in the 7th and we know about the war on

terrorism and the bombing of Afghanistan.

 

If we look at the chart for the next inauguration, we find that the owner of the

rising sign is in the 8th house.

 

The chart for 1941 and 1973 have as well a similar position. 1941 and onwards

saw the desvastation of the World War. 1973 saw the corruption well known now

of the last years of Nixon presidency. But lets remember that Nixon went on 8

August 1974.

 

For the chart of 2001 we see the moon in the 8th house indicating mental worries

to the nation and to the president as the representative of the nation.

 

It is interesting to see that the chart for the inauguration in 2001 indicates

the Moon antara running from 18 NOV 2001 to 4 Feb 2002.

 

Many people think that the ENRON case is the watergate for the present

administration and this case just started few days ago. Another interesting

thing is on the news today that although Bush Jr is very fit, running the mile

under 7' etc, he fainted yesterday Sunday while watching TV. Apparently his

heart slowed down. The news say that Bush Sr also fainted while being a

president and having a dinner in Tokyo.

 

As an astrologer, i offer my best wishes to everybody, and i wish the best

health to Bush Jr but to me, his health seems to be linked to this Moon in 8th

house.

 

Then we see that the mars antara runs from 4-Feb 2002 to 31 Mar 2002. Mars in

the 7th indicates some friction with foreing nations. Then from 31 Mar to 19

Jul 2002, Jupiter antara rules the show. In the mentioned chart, Jupiter as

lord of the 12th in the 2nd causes a daridra yoga indicating that the economy

is likely to see a down trend. Because jupiter is associated with Saturn, lord

of the 10 and 11th houses, indicates a bad turn to karma (10) and labha (11)

which is likely to be accentuated in the Saturn antara to run between 19 July

and 27 Nov 2002.

 

Perhaps the sasa yoga forned by Saturn in navamsa can help things but

nevertheless the daridra yoga is going to put its signature to the show.

 

Lets remember that Jupiter bukti runs from 31 Mar 2002 to 3 Mar 2004. By

occupation, Jupiter is in a costellation wich is at 4 distance from the natal

constellation and this can ne helpful.

 

But the ascendant sign and Ketu are in a constellation which is 3rd to the natal

constellation or naksatra. The 3rd constellation from natal constellation is

the worst and by occupation, those indications are likely to appear more

prominent during the Ketu bukti and to a less appearance during the antaras of

Ketu.

 

Durimg this presidential term, the ketu bukti does not appear but thge next Ketu

antara runs from 24 Mar to 11 May 2003.

 

Another bad interperiod is the one for mercury because this planet is in a

constellation which is at 5 constellations from the natal one.

 

Remember that bad constellations from the natal one are those that are at 3, 5,7

and 1 from the constellation of birth. 3rd is the worst and 1 is the mildest.

 

The next Ketu inter or antara runs from 24 Mar to 11 May 2003.

 

The new Moon was yesterday (you can consult the moon calendar already posted) at

13:32 GMT, the constellation 20 finished at 08:24 GMT and the noon was in Sag

until 14:50 GMT.

 

This means that the new moon happened in constellation 21 and in Sagittarius.

 

The 2001 inauguration chart has the moon in constelltion 18 and in Scorpio.

 

This means that the new moon in constellation 18 has the past new moon in

constellation 4 (count from 18 to 21 = 4) and in 2nd sign (count from Sco to

Sag). Those angles means a kind of protection to the chart during this moon

cycle.
