Guest guest
Dear Deepak You wrote <<Also, As Wendy has said they are Just points in the Zodiac. And they dont have any Mass. If you talk of Astronomy, E=MC2.So Logically also when there is no mass there is no electro magnetic forces emanating from them. But they have impact on us because the other planets form a force like Sun and Moon, which gets concentrated at those nodal points and thus causing their effect.ThanksDeepak>> Me I can not say that you are wrong and that I am right because in this case we have encountered a matter of belief. We all are spirit soul but somehow we have reincarnated in a body that is represented by a horoscope. The 9th house of the horoscope indicates our belief system, which is conditioned by many factors that we encounter in life. One of those main factors is the conditionments received in school, which are programmed to make us ideal citizens to serve the status quo. You are reflecting the basic teachings prevailing in our so-called modern standard education. However, as I can understand, the planets are called grahas in vedic astrology, which is a Sanskrit, word meaning "a center of energy". you<< So Logically also when there is no mass there is no electro magnetic forces emanating from them.>> Me Modern education says that Rahu and Ketu are mathematical points without any mass. But from the Srimad Bhagavatam we learn that Rahu is like one of the stars. Adhastat savitur yojanayute svarbhanur naksatravac caratity eke yo SB 5th Canto, chapter 24, text 1. Which can be translated like this (I am not expert in Sanskrit, this is the way that I understand): Sukadeva Goswami said: Below the sun globe we find the planet called Svarbanu known as Rahu, which moves like one of the stars. >From sadhus I have been told that Rahu is invisible from earth, but visible from outer space. Just like the optical laws change under the water, for example when we put and stick under the water, the stick looks as if bend from our position above the water, so the optical laws change as well in the outer space. As a matter of belief, we are told to put our faith in modern science that is telling us things that we cannot probe. Many times we have seen science changing its song whenever they find "new" evidence that destroys their "theories" and many times scientists are like politicians when lying or distorting the truth to the public. You are free to believe what you want, but so every one of us. American scientists have told us that they have been to the moon and even that they have left some evidence over there. Some people believe them and some not. The vedas disprove their descriptions and many experts in photography say that the photos of the Moon landings are a fake. The only ultimate evidence is to go to the moon, which is too far for us to take the bus. But a Japanese satellite will take close pictures of the Moon in 2 years time. I hope that those Japanese scientists will tell us the truth and reveal the pictures of the place of landing. So, I belief that Rahu is the head and Ketu is the tail of an entity having a gross mass and therefore electromagnetic forces capable of giving an influence. Also, grahas are just a chunk of matter just like cars are but behind every graha there is an intelligent being called demigod. And every demigod is a faithful servant of Krishna (God) having an especifc task in this cosmic manifestation. Guest guest
Hi Natabara! If you want to know about how scientific our Shastras were then you can study Gola Shastra or Surya Siddhanta. You will find all the technical aspects of mathematics, physics. It has all the calculations for calculating the distances of Sun, Moon, and other planets from Earth along with other Astronomical stuff. Thanks Deepak
