Guest guest
Fayyaz, The word you are referring may be "saMyoga", which means union or conjunction. When two or more planets are conjunct the planets are said to be in the state of "saMyoga". This is a prerequisite for most yogas. Though the word "yoga" by itself can mean conjunction, "saMyoga" refers to complete integration. Guest guest
Thanks indeed for your indulgence. I guess "saMyoga" must be& mean what you mentioned because i have not been able to spot a specific yoga by this name in any of the books.I heard about it from a very elderly astrologer in Nairobi, but couldn't make out what it meant. Does a yoga becoming saMyoga give any special meaning or colour to a yoga? Thanks again & best regards, Fayyaz
Guest guest
Dear Fayyaz, I too have not come across the word in my astrological studies and hence do not have any specific reference. I am familiar with the word in other contexts. The word has an dynamic flavour to it as it is often used to describe the action of coming together. (May mean transit hits - just a guess!) Sorry for being unable to offer further help. Regards, Arun
