Guest guest
Dear LIst I have a question about this chart. This person has a beautiful venus exalted in Pisces in 9H, yet ruler ruler Jupiter is debilitated and overpowered by a close conjunction with a very strong saturn in 7H. Nakshatra ruler for venus is this same saturn. What does this do to the strength and abilities for venus to provide benefits? feb 10, 1961 4.34 pm chicago illinois, USA Long- 87W39 Lat- 41N52 thanks Marcia
Guest guest
Dear Marcia The Lord of the house is the Landlord of the property and unless well situated the affairs of the house become troublesome . The extent of the difficulty depends on how weak/afflicted the Lord of the house is .In the case you mention Jupiter gets some sort of cancellation because it is a quadrant and Saturn is in it's own sign and hence strong . However Saturn is quite malefic for Cancers so you would not want it to be close in conjunction to Jupiter . The effect of a weak or strong dispositor is felt more intensely in a Moolatrikona sign than the other sign .Strong dispositors also raise the strength of their inhabitants a point which is often overlooked . So overall a lot of factors have to be weighed up to make an assessment but few would argue that you can ignore the state of the dispositor . Hope this helps Nicholas - Marcia gjlist Saturday, January 05, 2002 5:08 PM [GJ] question Dear LIstI have a question about this chart. This person has a beautiful venus exalted in Pisces in 9H, yet ruler ruler Jupiter is debilitated and overpowered bya close conjunction with a very strong saturn in 7H.Nakshatra ruler for venus is this same saturn. What does this do to the strength and abilities forvenus to provide benefits?feb 10, 19614.34 pm chicago illinois, USALong- 87W39Lat- 41N52thanksMarciaOm Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya; Hare Krishna; Om Tat SatTo , send an email to: gjlist-http://www.goravani.comYour use of is subject to the

However Saturn is quite malefic for Cancers so you would not want it to be close in conjunction to Jupiter .. actually I didn't mention the cancellation - I was wondering if Jupiter's close proximity to this strong saturn would further weaken this debilitated planet, as it is within 1* of malefic Saturn in it's own house. And what the effects would then be on the exalted venus in the 9th, with deb. jupiter as it's lord. I am still at the stage of not knowing how much emphasis to place on the different factors that go into weighing the strength / weaknesses of the planets and entire chart as a whole, ie: lords, debilitation, exaltation, etc. Thanks for your help.
