Guest guest
Dear Cynthia I had been very busy on a family duty. My son Nimai, 20 in a few days time, came to visit me for 4 days before going back to university. To keep my mind and intellect fit, we played chess. I won the first and last game and he won the middle 4 games. Vedic astrology is like a game of chess including the especial dristis of the warriors, elephants, horses, councellors, queen and king. Early this morning i had a dream about your chart. It was about someone telling me that i had missed the Gajakesari in your chart an another yoga (which i forgot when i woke up). I did not mention it before because it is too obvious to vedic astrologers. However, in my reading experience it tells me that your yoga have good potential to be (or you are already) a manager. The potential may be there but it is upto people to get the relevant training or go for it. It is upon will power. I think that the other yoga given in my dreams is about Rahu. For many years I was told in books that Rahu does not rule signs, but as i said before in another posting, i have heard recently (1-2 years) that Rahu rules Aquarius and Ketu Scorpio. I did a testing to that rule and it seems that it works for predictions. Therefore i am still fitting the nodes to my readings. >From your chart, you can see that Scorpio rules your 11th house. The 11th is the 7th from the 5th or previouse lives. Therefore Scorpio indicates as well your relationships, spouse or partners in previous life. Mars the owner of 11th in your 5th indicates past relationships coming to you in this life. As i have posted before, Raman says that malefic planets in the 2nd, 5th or 10th indicate offenses (sins) done in previous lives, in words, intention, or deeds. However, your Mars in the 5th although indicating that you committed some offenses in your intentions in previous life, is with Mercury (the 9th lord) alleviating or correcting that offense in this life in a dharmic way. Furthermore, the host planet to those 2 planets is exalted indicating an exalted social position in past life. An exalted position means (with the trine or aspect from exalted benefic Jupiter) a good karma in previous life. To me, Rahu also an owner of the 11th in 12th means that there was a separation of your relationships in past life, but that you did well as a widow because Rahu's host is exalted in rasi. By destiny sometimes we are given some experiences which we may not understand or like it. We are supposed to deal with those experiences with the middle path. No too much, not less, just what we are given. We have to learn to see and to control, and not to deny or supress. Otherwise, we have to experience what is destined to us sooner or later. Sometimes we suffer separation from dear people and blame everyone but our karma. To become bitter does not help, with a better understanding we can see things better. By accepting destiny as it is, we advance nicely. We have to realize that we have been conditioned since childhood. Some of those conditionments are positive like the learning about how to cross the streets, but most of the conditionments are an obstacle to our understanding of things. We are conditioned to see the surface of things, the external appearance rather than the inner self, the karma implied, the destiny, the experience, the real why. My spiritual master told us not to critice anyone because otherwise we run the risk of being put under similar experiences to learn. A practical example to see is how we react to the news of Bill-Monica. Externally, socially and morally it may look very bad. Karmically, who knows if Monica was holding the karmic cards in her hands?. When someone has a karmic debt, she/he has to pay upto the last cent of interest. Any rasi can be read as the ascendant. The GJ programe has the function to change the rasi to the place of the ascendent (the head, the beginning) at the touch or a button, making readings more practical. By following this method you can read the 5th from the 5th (the 9th in your rasi) as previous life from previous life. The 9th house indicates among other thing, dharma. I have the Bhagavad Gita of Srila Prabhupada in Microsoft Word that takes about 380 pages. With the search function in Word, i find the word dharma very eaily and i find this. "paritranaya sadhunamvinasaya ca duskrtamdharma-samsthapanarthayasambhavami yuge yuge WORD FOR WORD paritranaya -- for the deliverance; sadhunam -- of the devotees; vinasaya -- for the annihilation; ca -- and; duskrtam -- of the miscreants; dharma -- principles of religion; samsthapana-arthaya -- to reestablish; sambhavami -- I do appear; yuge -- millennium; yuge -- after millennium. TRANSLATION To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium. " I also found this nice one but quoted from the Sri Isopanisad, Mantra 15. I searched in my collection of books and found that book but in Polish (which I do not read), I must have given away the one in English by mistake. So, please if anyone on this list have the translation to this, its posting will be appreciated. "iranmayena patrenasatyasyapihitam mukhamtat tvam pusann apavrnusatya-dharmaya drstaye " I can see that the translation has to do with dristaye or vision. I am not a Sanskrit expert but i would say that satya dharmaya dristaye could mean the eternal vision of dhasma? And in the last chapter i find this. "sarva-dharman parityajyamam ekam saranam vrajaaham tvam sarva-papebhyomoksayisyami ma sucah WORD FOR WORD sarva-dharman -- all varieties of religion; parityajya -- abandoning; mam -- unto Me; ekam -- only; saranam -- for surrender; vraja -- go; aham -- I; tvam -- you; sarva -- all; papebhyah -- from sinful reactions; moksayisyami -- will deliver; ma -- do not; sucah -- worry. TRANSLATION Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear. " The 9th house indicates Dharma, a Sanskrit word translated as religion but in reality it means duty or the inherent potential of the soul to serve God. Of course, the vedic knowledge can be seen from the 9th house as well. So i search for vedas. "Men of small knowledge are very much attached to the flowery words of the Vedas, which recommend various fruitive activities for elevation to heavenly planets, resultant good birth, power, and so forth. Being desirous of sense gratification and opulent life, they say that there is nothing more than this. " And "The Vedas deal mainly with the subject of the three modes of material nature. O Arjuna, become transcendental to these three modes. Be free from all dualities and from all anxieties for gain and safety, and be established in the self. " Or "The form you are seeing with your transcendental eyes cannot be understood simply by studying the Vedas, nor by undergoing serious penances, nor by charity, nor by worship. It is not by these means that one can see Me as I am. " As i understand, simply by studying the Vedas, we can not see the Lord or transcendental matters. Transcendental vision is only given by those chosen by the Lord out of Love for His servants. That vision is more valuable than anything in this material world. And i like this very much. "I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedanta, and I am the knower of the Vedas. " From this, i understand that the sole transcendetal purpose of studying the vedas is to know God. And because God is known by many names we can call him by any of His names, Krishna. Because the 9th house also indicates GURU, guru or spiritual master means the person that can deliver Krishna to us, or the person that can give to the conditioned soul, the path to reach Krishna. The bona fide guru never claims to be God but the servant of God. That is one of the best things that Srila Prabhupada told us. Prabhupada never ever claimed to be God but he claimed to be the servant of God. Now, if we look at your chart, we can see that your 9th house is empty but it is aspected by exalted Venus, indicating that your knowledge of vedas, guru etc, will be achieved. What is more, the 9th lord Mercury is in the 5th house. Among other factors (each house means more than 50), the 5th house indicates higher instructions, divine inspiration. To me, the position in there of the 9th lord indicates the trends that you was granted with some of those benedictions during the last Mercury bukti. Due to your understanding at that time, you felt those grants as an increase in your practical intuition, but the expansion of your knowledge and experience will help you to understand more soon. During Saturn-Mercury those benefits will be more clear to you. Notice as well that Mercury is in the 2nd naksatra from the natal naksatra, indicating profits or an smooth time. BTW. the 9th house indicates the belief system of the individual and not the 4th house as some people seems to believe. Well, it is a question of belief. Any questions are welcome.
