Guest guest
Dear Stavavali <<i do hope that Krishna will look kindly upon her..>> Yes, He will, that is His promise in all the sacred scriptures. We know that God is Love and if He is all pervading as He must be by being God, His Love is everywhere, we have to learn to recognise it. Love cannot be lust and lust can not be love. Love and affection are higher, lust is among the lowest qualities. Because His love is everywhere, that is why we feel love for our friends, parents, teachers, etc. Love feeds our finer cells and by loving others, we learn to advance to higher levels of love. Eventually, we will be prepared to go higher and understand His Love or Love of Godhead. A good 9th house would indicate divine love but even if lacking in a horoscope He can make concessions. In my tours, one day i heard from a guru a beautifull passage that i want to share. He said that his horoscope was not good enough to be a guru. However, his own guru maharaja told him "forget about your horoscope, throw it in the bin, i will make for you another horoscope." This guru said "I believe that my guru Maharaja made another horoscope for me". Sradha is very important, believe in God is the most important thing. Sradha comes from the 9th house. With the mercy from guru, everything is possible. Guru is the person that is the most intimate associated of the Lord, his most dear servant. God loves everyone but He shows an especial love for His dear servants. And i am not talking here about a single sect or a single religion. God has many houses and every religion gives love of God. There are servants of God in every religion. We have to learn to recognize them and give our respects to them. BTW, i am not a guru, i am just a servant of the servant of God. <<i'm sure he is so pleased with your service to others, especially and particularly the service you are doing in your work on this list...>> That is one of my dharmas, or duties. And thank you very much for your kind words. <<yes partha is a nice devotee, i have already forgiven him for his outburst.>> A very positive symptom in the heart of a devotee of the Lord is to forgive. <<..these things flare up from time to time, >> It is a natural thing to happen and it is a better thing to learn how to deal with it wisely as you have done. Our gunas are up and down and when they get out of control, we have the tendencies to impose our false ego on others. The aim is to control our gunas and that can be a hard job. <<hopefully i can learn something from it..perhaps one day I too will become humble..>> I think that you are already humble. The humble is always humble even when apparently chastising others. Otherwise how we can learn to correct our mistakes? The problem is how to recognize humility, it is a matter of intuition that your long experience as an astrologer has given you. Apparently Hanuman was in anger when he put fire to the buildings in Ravana's city, but his anger was trancendental because he was acting in the service of the Lord. In a similar way, a bona fide guru may apparently show anger or a lack of humility but because he/her is acting in the service of the Lord, those qualities are hidden to the untrained person. Therefore we should learn to recognise between what is good and what is bad. Intuition can give us that power of discernment and intuition is a must to cultivate by astrologers.
