Dear All

My Monthly Planner is finally done and I have time to indulge here.

Would anyone be interested in a Mrigashira discussion???

Have you noticed the stellium...is there a word for a cluster of planets in

Sanskrit?...in May.

Look at May 14th, about mid day. Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Rahu and

Venus all in Taurus and nearly all of them in Mrigashira and facing Pluto.

I found a similar chart in 1934 where all of the malefics were triggered

along with the ecliptic axis.

Any idea what Mrigashira might bring? I know it is ruled by Mars, but what

is it really all about.

I had a client with Sun, Moon and I believe Venus in Mrigashira. She is in

her 60's. I teased her about being a hunter and asked her how she ever

managed to marry 1-2 times? Her response, it was hard, each time I just

knew that saying "I do" meant that there would be men I'd have to miss.

<grins>

No I do not mean that everyone with one of these planets in Mrigashira is

hunter by nature, it was this chart and the combination that tipped me off.

Looking forward to lively discussion

Renee, you opened the door, can you offer more? Please, everyone join. The

Lunar Eclipse is a great time to shift the list energy.

Hi...

I thought this nakshatra represented the hunted rather than the hunter? Is that

correct or is it the combo involved here that changes the meaning to 'hunter'?

Re Mrigashira

Bepin Behari's intro is interesting in his out of print book

Myths & Symbols of Vedic Astrology (Short quotes not against copyright if

reviewing book - which I do here - it's excellent and needs to be reprinted).

'Mrigashira stands for an auspicious beginning and the newness of experience.

Its characteristics have been figured in various ways, suggesting

dissatisfaction with existence or confusion and disorientation created by

cataclysmic events. following the turmoil, a new relationship is established

which imparts a different momentum to life".

That would seem to indicate a turn of events next year.

Gordon

Hmmm

Do you have ideas how this might manifest?

The charts of 1934 with all of the malefics including Pluto triggered and the

nodes would suggest rebuilding, in fact, it was the beginning of the end of the

great depression and we have lots of public works projects to show for it as

well as an awareness of crop rotation (thank you dust bowl) and conservation.

Then, the cluster also included Pluto. The naks. were Utar Ashada, Shravana

and Dhanishta. BTW, I have had good results using the 4-41776 chart with

Taurus (sidereal) on the lagna. Not meaning to begin a debate, just saying

that this chart works for me. Anyway, Saturn and Rahu are on the Moon of that

chart in January and also in October...see 10-3-1934.

Just opening the door for discussion. If mrigashira is dissatisfaction, as I

have seen in several clients, perhaps we will see a shift in priorities in the

nation. If the US chart I use is reliable, the cluster or stellium is in the

1st and would suggest to me that we will be taking care of business at home.

If it is reliable and the Lagna either Rohini or Mrigashira then the

transformation may be dramatic.

I heard today that experts (?!?) expect an economic resurgence in the spring

based upon new economic stimulation. This might mean that we will be looking

for ways to invest our (as a nation) resources for greatest good.

Just musing and open for debate.

BTW, I have Mars in Mrigashira and I call it the shopping nakshatra. Put me in

one of those poorly organized discount places and I will find treasures. Mars

is time conscious, so I usually as to be led to something wonderful and be in

and out in under an hour. Works everytime; But I have to be led rather than

will it. It's like a treasure hunt and I always expect to find something

wonderful for myself or someone dear.
