Guest guest
Dear Cynthia Thank you very much for your DOB. Moon in the ascendant indicates a very magnetic person that attracts a lot of friends and well wishers. Raman says that when the Sun is in the 4th and Mercury in the 5th it indicates a good astrologer. Some people may say that 4 exalted planets, one of them vargottama can give an easy life, but the energy of those planets give to the native a first hand experience of life which may not be necessary easy. <<If this is true...where's my financial abundance???>> A good question heard very often. To study money matters we have to study some houses. Laksmi Devi, chooses a person to bestow on him/her wealth according to her wishes. The first house indicates the person. >From the 2nd we see assets or bank balance. >From the 3rd we see communication, media, publishing etc. >From the 4th we can see buildings, land, vehicles. >From the 5th we see investments, gambling, lottery. >From the 6th we see service, advice, counselling, healing etc. >From the 7th we see partners, spouse, whether they are rich, successful or influential on the native's business. >From the 8th we see legacies, inheritances, gifts. >From the 9th we see good luck, good fortune, investments on foreign lands or businesses. >From the 10th we see wealth made from own efforts, profession or karma. >From the 11h we see artha or economical development, income, earnings. >From the 12th we see expenditure but also earnings throughout charitable institutions or charitable activities. As you can see, the 12 houses can give a clue about wealth. <<where's my financial abundance???>> Lord of 1st in 10th has the tendency to bring wealth through activities connected to self-employment. His lord being exalted indicates success in your career or karma. Notice that Saturn is in Libra and his dispositor or host is Venus. Venus is in the 3rd house, indicating success in communications, media, short travels, writings because Venus is exalted. And adding the artistic touch of venus, we get a nice presentation to the media, perhaps some music or animated characters etc. Your writings will touch many people and eventually they will come to you for advice and counselling. 2nd lord Saturn exalted in 10th is another dhana yoga, or a planetary combination that helps to bring wealth. Sun exalted in 4th indicates the tendencies to be successful in real state or vehicles. The host of the sun, mars is in the 5th fortifying (looking) at his own house which is the house of labha, earnings. All this helps as well in matters of wealth. Mercury lord of the 6th is strong in the 5th house, by being in his own sign in navamsa chart and in the 12th (institutions), Mercury is indicating wealth coming through advice and service connected to spiritual values and past lives (12th in navamsa and 5th in rasi). The association of Mercury to Mars indicates to me that you have the skills, knowledge or attraction of architecture, draughtsmanship or art (silpa shastra). 5th house is like the window to previous lives. His lord Venus exalted in the 3rd, and Mercury a natural benefic and lord of the 6th and 9th house in the 5th indicates a religious knowledge in the selfless service to others in this and previous lives. Mars as lord of the 11th (7th from 5th) indicates that your present partners in life were connected to you in the past. However, Mercury associated with Mars indicates that in previous lives you committed some aparadhas (offences) by mistake and therefore you had to pay for it in this life. Mystical Ketu in the 6th means that you have the potential to heal, counsel or advice with alternative medicines and/or that most of your illnesses are difficult or impossible to diagnose or treat by orthodox medicine. Recourse to alternative medicines can be very helpfull. Vargottama Jupiter in 7th indicates wealthy and influential spouse or partners or wealth coming by working in partnership. Indications supported by the strong aspect from the Moon, lord of 7th. Notice that Jupiter is aspecting the 11th, 1st and 3rd giving those houses and planets in there a good financial energy. The sun lord of the 8th and exalted in 4th indicates the propensities to receive some inheritance that may be contested at some point (see navamsa 6 in a fire sign). Mercury as 9th lord is strong in 5th as we saw, indicating good luck and divine protection. We have seen the 10th house already. 11th house has the look (dristi) of his own ruler indicating earnings through lottery, diplomacy or investments. 12th house having Rahu, indicates some losses which are a rectification and later on will bring earnings in activities connected to institutions or charitable activities. <<BTW, I have never felt poor even though I have often had very little money to just scrape by.>> It looks like during the antaras or buktis of Rahu, or of the lord of the 12th house (jupiter), some losses or poverty came to you. Since 10 June 1991 to 10 June 2007, you will be in the main period of Jupiter. Dividing the 16 years of his duration by 2, and you have that from 10 June 1991 to 10 June 1999, the indications of the 3rd house (because the 3rd is ruled by Pisces or the first sign of Jupiter as seen from the ascendant) were more relevant to you, short journeys, media, writings etc. Between 10 June 1999 and 10 June 2007, the indications of the 12th house (because the 12th is ruled by Sagittarius or the second sign of Jupiter as seen from the ascendant) will be more prominent to you, moksha, institutions, falls, losses, expenditure, freedom, liberation etc. >From 23 April 1999 to 21 Dec 2001, Venus bukti was ruling your life. For this we see that Venus is in the 3rd house and in the 27th naksatra. First we see that such naksatra is number 9 (2+7 =9) and your moon naksatra is the 21 or 3. >From 3 to 9 you have 7 naksatras (counting 1 from 3). This means tara bala or the strenght of the star = 7 which is bad. Remember that Tara Balas 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9 are good in increasing proportion. And TB 1,5,7, and 3 are bad in increasing proportion. Therefore Venus in Tara Bala 7 means some struggles or obstacles during the Venus bukti. But because Venus is exalted in 3, it means success in media, writings, etc. although with some setbacks. Now, look at the angle between dasa lord Jupiter and bukti lord Venus. They are at 9/5 or 5/9 from each other indicating a smooth bukti. So a good angle and a bad tara bala = some mixed results indicating "do not sleep in your efforts". Lets see the antaras which sometimes i "read" one by one with a pleasant result. You have to be quick when you only have 30' or 60' to read a chart. people in our days are in a hurry most of the times. This reminds me that in 1984, i used to read charts on the radio. No computers in those days, just ephemeris. I had to entertain people on the phone (on air), make some jokes, ask some questions, say something, and at the same time searching on the ephemeris for the dob. I used to get from the book the chandra lagna and draw the other 8 planets on it. It used to take me some 2-3 minutes to do that while enterteining the guest. Then, the reading and the feedback on air used to come. The telephone lines to the radio station used to get jammed. And people used to send letters. The radio used to estimate the number of listeners by multiplying by 1,000 per telephone call or letter received. <O:)-OOO<<< >From the 21 Dec 2001 to 9 Oct 2002, the sun bukti is going to rule your life. Your sun is in the 4th house exalted and in the naksatra 3. Your naksatra moon is in 3 as well. So 3 to 3 = 1, This is the mildest of the bad tara balas, indicating that it can be good but on days ruled by TB 1 we have many things in our head to the point that we become "spaced out" and therefore prone to accidents. Therefore i would advice you to be careful in your activities and do not forget the small print on papers, but you are very likely to have many plans in your head and become successful in activities connected to home, mother, education (any classes?), real state etc. On a second energy but more mild that the indications given by the 4th, the 10th house indications are likely to be prominent as well for you. this is due to the fact that the Sun is aspecting the 10th house. >From the 21 Dec 2001 to 5 Jan 2002, the Sun antara is likely to be intensive because you will have 2 Suns ruling your life. ie, sun bukti and sun antara. >From the 5 Jan 2002 to 30 Jan 2002, the Moon antara will rule. Matters connected to the 7th (ownership of moon), 1st (location of Moon) and 7th (secondary vibration and moon's aspect) will be more prominent. The moon in tara bala 1 gives similar indications to the sun by being in TB 1. And do not forget the angle between antara lord and bukti lord, which in this case is 10/4 or 4/10 or good. Indicating a smooth antara although mental (the moon) and with a lot of things in mind (TB 1). Angles between planets of 2/12, 6/8, 8/6 or 12/2 are bad indicating struggles to achieve ends. I advice you to print or draw all of your antaras and write beside those dates your own bio. In that way, you get a better idea of how your planets rule your life. Later on when i fully recover and get my own web page, i will put the tools to calculate the antaras for everybody to take home. At present each planet gives more than 1 mega of space to calculate all the antaras. I have designed the antara calculation on an XL spreadsheet. It is very handy. I just input the DOB and the date to begin all the dasas at birth and in a second i get the 9 dasas of a chart with their buktis and antaras (giving the beginning and end in dates for each antara or inter-period), plus the age of the person to have as a reference. Besides this info people can write important hapenings in their life, to relate with their planetary periods. When printed, they help to study biographies and vedic astrology. Meanwhile, those having a computer programme can print their own antaras to study. If you study you own dasas, you can follow some simple rules to see your bio. In general, the first bukti of any dasa is somehow neutral, a new beginning. The last bukti in any dasa is called dasa chidra and it is chaotic. Many old ladies coming to the astrologer in dasa chidra complain that doctors do not find things wrong in them. However, they feel without energies, easy tired, limited, ill, pessimistic etc. As soon as they go into the next bukti, the energies, optimism and clarity come back to all. A new horizon opens to all, a new beginning starts according to the house/s ruled by the next dasa lord and/or the house occupied or aspected by the next bukti lord. Adding up. To study the main periods, study the ownership of houses of dasa lord, the planets in those houses or/and the aspects received from other planets. To study the buktis or sub-periods of the planets, study the location of the bukti lord, also the association and aspects of that planet and the meaning of the aspected houses, which the opposite is the most influencial but second in power to the occupied house. To study the antaras, or inter-periods of planets, see both, the ownership of the houses and location, association or aspects (to or from) of the antara lord. And do not forget the angle between the dasa lord and bukti lord and between the the bukti lord and inter lord. Another rule that i have read in a Jataka, you can test as well if so you wish. During the bukti of atmakaraka lord, the native has the tendencies to lose everything. This means that the native is likely to see a new change in direction or attitude during the sub-period of the atmakaraka lord. Because Venus is your atmakaraka (the planet that has more longitude in any sign, or if Rahu has the less longitude in any sign) is telling me that in your past bukti of Venus somehow you had some losses, limitations and a change of heart. New decisions and directions were very likely to come out of that. Think about it and any feed back will be welcome. I hope that this reading is useful to you and to all in this list and perhaps beyond. When i do a reading in public i do so in a way that only the native understands things in a different way. One to one readings can be different depending on time, place, circumstances and inspiration. Please take into consideration that i am now rusty because this is the first full reading i do in 8 and 1/2 months. I am planning to go back to readings in April, God wishing. Cynthia, I hope that you like this reading, any questions are welcome. <O:)-OOO<<< Have a good Christmas and a happy new Year 2002 to all the list. Yours in the service of Jyotish.
