Guest guest
Hito Wendy, its Zamani. I read one of your posts in response to "childless" and i was interested inthe comments you made concerning the function of Ketu when it is conjoined another planet and the "swallowing up effect".If an individual has Ketu in the same house as another planet do the degrees matter in your opinion? Or is it enough that its there together in the same House. In my case I am a 33 year old male and I have no children.Im my rashi I have Ketu in Virgo in the 12th House with the Sun, Mercury and Venus (and for those who use outers in Vedic... Uranus also)also in Virgo, but Ketu isnt really close in degrees to Mecury and Venus. Also since Rahu supposedly makes a seventh house aspect to wherever Ketu is placed wouldnt that bring in those issues as well? Can you give me some insight into this . Heres my data.....thanks Zamani Feelings Septmeber 19, 1968 10:23 am Brooklyn , New York 75W10, 39N57 Eastern Daylight Savings Time lagna : 15 Libra Send your FREE holiday greetings online! http://greetings. Guest guest
Dear Zamani, That was an excellent analogy given by Partha...better than mine perhaps :-) In the example of the childless couple, the wife is in a bhukti of Jupiter and it was predicted that children would come in a few months. But the months passed, and passed again etc., and still no children... The obstruction to this bhukti (as I see it) is, as Partha said, the significations of Jupiter (karaka for 5th) are negated...unable to function in their normal way due to the influence (obstruction) of Ketu. I have a family member going through a Mercury dasa with Mercury conjunct Ketu in 10th. Tremendous difficulties he's faced in regards his ability to think things through logically...it's almost impossible to reason with him or to appeal to his logic...he's not a stupid man, very deep-thinking etc., but this Mercury period has had very negative results. Difficulties in regards to his status, occupation etc., and brought about, for the most part, by his inability to reason correctly, to think things through in a logical way before he acts...so he's forever making the wrong decisions...with disastrous consequences!
