As there is now a thread going about various Gita translations, if

anyone is interested, there are free Gitas, translated and printed by

the Internaional Gita Society availible at www.gita-society.com. This is

a translation done by Shri Ramananda Prasad, Ph.D. You can also reach

him at gitaprasad

 

The International Gita Society's mission is to make availible free of

charge or as near to that as possible, Gitas for anyone who requests

one. It's mission is similar to the Christian Gideons, if you're

familiar with them (ie, the Gideons pass out free Bibles and only ask

that you read it if they give it to you. IGS is non-sectarian, and

believes in tolerance and equal respect for all religions. So this blurp

for them is not an attempt at any sort of conversion, okay? )

 

They have a blue (abridged) version for beginners and the silver

version, which is a complete translation in English. Also a study

version, which will cost you about $18.00, I think it is...That one is

frequently found and Barnes & Noble. I think they also have some Gitas

availible in other languages, check with the site.

And this last comment has nothing to do with the above. Natabara was

writing about the effects of Rahu and Ketu...I thought the Moon nodes,

ie, Rahu and Ketu, coudn't aspect anything..they just do what they do in

the house they reside in, only. Guess I got that wrong, then?
