The answer is very deep.

Vedic astrology is a divine science and to learn all the rules requires to have

a computer. But first you have to feed it with all the possible combinations

and i think that that is impossible.

 

Astrology and medicine are infinite.

 

First, there are not simple rules to seecurses. You could learn to see some in

a chart but it is not as simple.

 

I have met 3 tantrics and they all told me that to learn about curses we need a

lot of discipline, austerities and study. One of them lived in the Himalayas

since the age of 8 and learned from his guru.

 

I am not an expert in curses and even if i knew some rules i would not tell you

so openly because this knowledge requires initiation.

 

I have to clarify first a common misunderstanding.

The maha mantra is mainly for self realization. I never chant it to cure a

headache or to get rid of curses. Dhanvantari gave us the rules of medicine

and that science deals with the physical problems.

 

I have heard that the maha-mantra will "cure" anything. The maha mantra is not

so cheap as they say. It is higher than that.

 

When we come across curses, we have to deal with them with material remedies

even if they are subtle like sound.

 

Curses can be solved with surrender, but God will say "you come to me without

first putting things right?. I will give you the tools and intelligence to

deal with your karma first, and after you have helped to get rid of the karmic

knot, we can talk."

 

We are responsible for our own acts.

 

Dr Raman mentions that if malefics are in 2nd, 5th or 10th house, indicate that

the native committed aparadhas (offenses) in previous lives in speech (2),

intention (5) or deed (10).

 

A good book about curses is the Prasna Marga. I have the one by J.N.Bhasin but

i thing that Raman wrote one as well.

 

It is a book mainly about prasna but it can give the idea.

 

Pege 400 "In the case of an echange between the 9th and 6th houses, the trouble

of the querist should be considered as having arisen from the natural wrath of

father, guru or ancestors. Sun in the 6th or with the lord of the 6th signifies

wrath of father. Similarly the location of the moon and the lord of the 4th

house in the 6th or with 6th lord indicate curse by the mother."

 

I have heard that some tantrics ask for the question about the curse to their

connections, and get the answer, and the solution.

 

I have heard astrologers as well detecting curses in the chart but simple rules

to the unprepared will cause exploitation. A vedic astrologer should know the

rules of karma and be discreet and compassioned.

 

>From page 399 "if a malefic planet is located in a badha house with or in a sign

of Jupiter, the curse should be deemed as from brahmins or from devas. The sun

indicates having come from father, gran-father, or gran-gran father, or from

gurus"

 

"In order to get release from these curses the querist should take steps to

specially appease or please the devas, brahmins, and his gurus, preceptors etc"

 

I ask myself, how we can do that sincerely if we still have a big ego.

 

A teacher or guru can guide you more. Books can be read by anyone but the mercy

of a bona fide guru is a must.

 

We are fortunate when guru has shakti and can give that shakti to us. Divine

mercy has to be involved.

 

Knowledge of the rules are useful but divine sanction has to be there to achieve any benefit.

 

To learn ABC can help us to write, speak or read any language, but to write

poetry requires inspiration.

We can be astrologers but to have shakti requires divine intervention.

i don't have any of those aspects ect arising in my chart, so it's a relief in

that respect..i shall study this area in due course..yes you are right an

astrologer should have compassion and discernment....

yes there are many charlatans out there..i pray for them to have the realisation

of the errors of their ways..
