Guest guest
dear Cynthia <<The gods hid Rohini in the heavens in Mrigashira to protect her from herfather's desire>> Sullivan, wrote a book recently about the cosmological truths hidden among the Inca "mythology". He studied them for more than 20 years and found that they hide astronomical happenings. Following his intuiton i get the feeling that here they are taking about the time when Rohini was in the tropical Mrigasira. This happens once every 25,920 years in what we call the precession of the equinoxes. I just read a book that explains how Homer relates the stars and constellations in the Classic book The Illiad. <<I never tell anyone whom theyshould be with, only try to uncover the challenges and let them decide.>> It is a very good approach and it avoids interference in karma. I have seen some people interfiring in karma and the results are disastrous. So, you have Mercury in the 5th. Raman says that some combinations for astrologers happen when Mercury and Sun are in either 2, 4 or 5. Saturn in gochara must be triggering on you a lot of events related to your previous life. Specially around the times of conjunction of Saturn with Mercury. Best wishes natabara

[c] Yes, that would be my analogy as well. Even when it afronts the most basic cultural tabus. I have a sister with Moon in Rohini > > and as far as I know she has never been molested but she is certainly very > > attractive to others and a "pet" when she was young . For a woman to be > too > > attractive can certainly be a problem both for themselves and others . [c] How does she use this magnetism? I've seen this nak. be a little greedy. I've also seen the power of attraction dominate the life and in a sense stunt other development. Most seem to just enjoy flirting and little gifts like getting out of a traffic ticket. It is most amazing to watch. This > > is why in Hinduism and Islam the female body was fairly covered to reduce > > the allurement . [c] I don't know about that. In the north they wear those baggy but beautiful dresses over pants, but I don't think there is much more sensual than a vibrantly colored and beaded sari with rich bron-skin of the midriff showing. They are always flattering, seem to require good posture to keep them nicely placed and the scarfs are often so intricately embroidered that they leave western clothing in the dust when it comes to feminine attraction. I haven't had the courage to go out in one, but I do have several embroidered shawls and one sheer beaded bright fuscia one. The Taliban position is too extreme denying women > sufficient > > sunlight and thus injuring their health . > > Longing to hear more from you ( Your Mercury Karaka for communication in > > Rohini : - ) ) [c] thank you the discussion here is great. I am so pleased to hear from the Hasta folks. let's go on to others and see what we can learn. I've copied the stories of Rohini that have been shared and hungry for mor dialogue. c > > Nicholas > > > > - > > "cynthia novak" <c.a.novak > > <gjlist> > > Tuesday, December 18, 2001 3:47 AM > > [GJ] Re: Rohini > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear Cynthia > > > > Could you send us your full details and your insights on Rohini > > > > Nicholas > > > > > > That might be pretty long. Guest guest
Chris Use whatever you like. I tried to offer three different manifestations that I have seen and the myth. I am not claiming that the rest of the chart be ignored. Certainly, you would look to aspects and placements. I really do not want to argue with you. The richness of the study of astrology, in my opinion, comes through so many topics and so many different techniques. I am still surprised when I tell a client just a little about the myth or story of a nak. that is prominent in the chart. They always have something to reveal or some way that is manifests in their lives. Myth and symbolism are not for everyone. c - Christopher Kevill <ckevill <gjlist>; <gjlist> Monday, December 17, 2001 3:12 PM Re: [GJ] Re: Rohini > Cynthia: > > I gather this is addressed to me, so I'll aver a reply. > > At 01:00 PM 12/17/01 -0600, cynthia novak wrote: > >DO you know where Rohini is? > > > >It is in Taurus and so Venus in her own sign is not particularly afflicted > >no matter what house she falls in. > > Sorry, but I don't agree with this interpretation.
