In chapter 8 Planetary Transits Through Lunar Mansions he describes the ifluence of the grahas. He says "All ancient scholars quote very early authorities like Parasara. Garga. Vasistha, and Yavanacharya (18 fathers). If we are to veryfy any doubtful rules laid down by aothors of early centuries of Christian era; we should obtain the complete works of authors who lived in many centuries before Christ. Unfortunately, many of their works now exist only in parts and it becomes extremely extremely difficult to refute or accept diverse opinions in the absence of ancient source books. But to be on the safe side we can do always the right thing, namely, accept such staments or opinions which are agreed upon by two or more authorities. WE shall follow this safe method in the present case also." So, he gives a list of benefic and malefic transits of the planets in regard to the natal Moon's constellation or Janma naksatra. The sun is Benefic whe he transits over the 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13 and 24 star reckoned from natal star. In the 1, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23 he is malefic. The Moon is Benefic whe he transits over the 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 26 and 27 star reckoned from natal star. In the 1, 19, 21 and 23 he is malefic. Mars is Benefic whe he transits over the 9, 11, 17, 22 and 24 star reckoned from natal star. In the 1, 3, 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, and 21 he is malefic. Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are Benefic whe they transit over the 4, 6, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 27 star reckoned from natal star. In the 1, 3, 7, 10, 12, and 19, they are malefic. Saturn, Rahu and Ketu are Benefic whe they transit over the 2, 4, 6, 8, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22 and 24 stars reckoned from natal star. In the 1, 7, 10, and 27 they are malefic. He says that if benefic stars fall in good houses the planets will be good. If the benefic stars fall in bad houses like the 6, 8 or 12, the transits will be neutral. And if malefic stars fall in good houses the transits will be neutral, but if the bad stars fall in bad houses, the effects will be very bad. Best wishes.
