Guest guest
Similar personal characteristics can sometimes be seen from different ascendents due to many factors. The only effective way to determine the ascendent is to plough through some events using a variety of techniques and see which fits best. For the Virgo ascendent chart I prefer Leo navamsha . This makes the ascendent 25-26 deg Virgo which is 1 hour back from the reported time of 11.42 pm BST -1. Virgo ascendent,Leo navamsha has Ve in the ascendent and an excellent combination for wealth. The task therefore will be to determine whether this ascendent is better than Libra ascendent ,Sagittarius navamsha. The exact events are marriage ,birth of son, death plus some career highlights. Some travel events would also be useful eg when he first left England. Rectification is not my forte but I intend to examine as many events as possible before making a final decision. Guest guest
Ron, We've been doing all this- talking about his personality in relation to the ascending signs and relating events to dashas andto the chart. Here is another one. From Virgo, Vargottama Mars occupiesthe house of property with an aspect from a Jupiter to his own house. His mansion, Friar Park, is a hugely valuable piece of property famous throughout Britain. >From Libra, the lord of the house of property occupies the eighth, Saturn in the eighth. That's about as bad as you can get. The correspondences and incongruencies that I've been bringing up have all been like this. I can't imagine that you would need to keep examining things. That's like saying that you need more time to figure out the difference between a radio and a refrigerator. Or how about the contrast between the financial karma of the two horoscopes? No question, the Libra chart does not represent his financial karma at all. And the ascendent situation under Libra belongs to the world of average charts at best. You can't build a George Harrison on that ascendent. It should take little explanation for a seasoned interpreter to see these things. Maybe some of you will have a change of heart. [bTW there is a third kemadruma-bhanga yoga present, in addition to the two I mentioned...Moon's dispositor (lagnesh Venus) enjoying exaltation also gives rise to KBY.] Obviously it's easy to see the powerful effect of these KBY's in relation to name & fame but for some reason the significance of Moon as karaka for 4th house seems to be lost...would not this same Moon bestow the same greatness in relation to property (4th house)...of course it would! Also note that both Mercury (occupying 4th) and 4th lord Saturn are in the nakshatra of Moon...!!! Also, along this same line, please note that Lagna, Sun and Moon are all in the nakshatra of Rahu in the 11th house of "Gains". It shouldn't be difficult to see that this promises tremendous material gains. Now consider Rahu in nakshatra of Ketu (conjunct Sun) in 5th house of Mind (spiritual practices/mantras etc). Although all sorts of gains are bestowed on him, his innermost desire (hopes and wishes) are towards moksha. Wendy, I just answered this in a previous post. But the Moon doesn't have the strenghth at all that you are ascribing to it. It would have tolift up the horoscope from the pits where the lagna lord inan evil house put it,and that with the aspect of the lord of the third and sixth upon it. I have to raise objections to your comments! > [bTW there is a third kemadruma-bhanga yoga present, in addition to the two I mentioned...Moon's dispositor (lagnesh Venus) enjoying exaltation also gives rise to KBY.] > > Obviously it's easy to see the powerful effect of these KBY's in relation to name & fame but for some reason the significance of Moon as karaka for 4th house seems to be lost...would not this same Moon bestow the same greatness in relation to property (4th house)...of course it would! The Moon is the karaka for the 4th in terms of mothers, the karaka of the 4th in terms of property is Mars. Under Libra, the 4th lord in the eighth would establish negative parameters that preclude the type of property karma that George enjoyed. The eighth is the worst house in the horoscope. Rahu doesn't have any nakshatras. That list/correspondence is only for the purpose of calculating vimshottari dasha.
