Guest guest
Hello all its Zmaani .Recently I have been informed (by a highly respected astrologer)that the concept of the Nodes making 7th house or opposition aspects is not a technique that is used universally by practitioners of Vedic Astrology.I was always under the impression that Rahu (for example) will make an automatic aspect to any house and planet that is opposite from it, but lately ive been told by some ,that this is not a technique that appears in any of the ancient texts and is therefore a questionable one.Does anybody have any more insight into this subject matter.I have Rahu in the 6th house and a packed 12th house and I always assumed that Rahu was aspecting those planets in the 12th house just by being in the opposing house but ive been told that this is incorrect. Can anyone clear this up for me. Thanks Zamani Buy the perfect holiday gifts at Shopping.
Guest guest
Dear Zamani Rahu is genearally but not universally considered to cast a 7th aspect ..Amongst those who believe in the 7th aspect some would consider mainly the Ketu conjunction . Hope this helps Nicholas - "Zamani Feelings" <zfeelings2 <gjlist> Sunday, December 02, 2001 12:48 PM [GJ] A question about Nodal oppositions > Hello all its Zmaani .Recently I have been > informed (by a highly respected astrologer)that > the concept of the Nodes making 7th house or > opposition aspects is not a technique that is > used universally by practitioners of Vedic > Astrology.I was always under the impression that > Rahu (for example) will make an automatic aspect > to any house and planet that is opposite from it, > but lately ive been told by some ,that this is > not a technique that appears in any of the > ancient texts and is therefore a questionable > one.Does anybody have any more insight into this > subject matter.I have Rahu in the 6th house and a > packed 12th house and I always assumed that Rahu > was aspecting those planets in the 12th house > just by being in the opposing house but ive been > told that this is incorrect. Can anyone clear this > up for me. Guest guest
Zamani, Most jyotishis consider Rahu has a 7th house aspect. Others also believe Rahu has a 5th and 9th house aspect. In your chart, Rahu in the 6th house should make you a very formidable opponent. It also shows that your father may be affected by such configuration. Further, since Saturn is in the 8th house from the Sun, your father might have health problems because of these planetary stresses. You have an Amala yoga because of the Moon in its own house and in the 10th house. You should do well in your career. According to most vedic books, you should do well in businesses involving trade in water related products, such as sale of pearls and red coral. Your physical constitution appears to be Pitta and Vata, since your lagna lord is associated with the Sun and Saturn is aspecting your lagna. As such, you may have a nervous tendency; a light sleeper; fast walker; fast talker; you don't like cold weather. Your Saturn is rather weak. But it would be better if your navamsa shows a stronger position for Saturn. Since Saturn is a yoga karaka for your ascendant, you should try to strengthen it by wearing a jyotish ring, preferably a blue sapphire worn on your middle finger. Theoretically, this should make your relationships better. Guest guest
Wherever Rahu falls, Ketu is in the house opposite. Then comes the question. How could Rahu's aspect of that house be more important than Ketu who is already there and so impacting everyone in that house? It would not make sense. If you have Ketu with your Sun, Rahu will automatically aspect your Sun as well, but Ketu will be the influence that is most felt. c - Zamani Feelings <zfeelings2 <gjlist> Saturday, December 01, 2001 7:48 PM [GJ] A question about Nodal oppositions > Hello all its Zmaani .Recently I have been > informed (by a highly respected astrologer)that > the concept of the Nodes making 7th house or > opposition aspects is not a technique that is > used universally by practitioners of Vedic > Astrology.I was always under the impression that > Rahu (for example) will make an automatic aspect > to any house and planet that is opposite from it, > but lately ive been told by some ,that this is > not a technique that appears in any of the > ancient texts and is therefore a questionable > one.Does anybody have any more insight into this > subject matter.I have Rahu in the 6th house and a > packed 12th house and I always assumed that Rahu > was aspecting those planets in the 12th house > just by being in the opposing house but ive been > told that this is incorrect. Can anyone clear this > up for me.
