Respected List Members,

a question about casting a prasna horoscope.

Which time is recommended or better for prasna purpose,

if the question arrives by email.

The time, when the mail is sended or the time,

when the question is received?

Thank you,

Volker

All glories to the Holy names of the Lord.

I undoubetdly agree with Shri Manoj. My reason is this: When someone comes to

you for asking the question, you invariably take the time of 'asking' the

question, ie when the question falls on 'your ears'. Let us examine this a

little more clearly. We should understand that the question per se did not

arise just at that particular time (in the mind of the questioner). The

questioner had earlier itself thought about the question, problem, framed the

question, refined it (all in his mind) and then came to you to 'ask' it. We do

not consider the time when the question arouse in his mind. We only consider

the time when he actually came to you to ask about it.

Now consider this: The native, instead of just 'thinking and refining' it in

his mind, actually sat down and wrote (and probably rewrote) the question.

Still, it does not change anything. We will consider the time when he actually

comes to us to ask the question (or when the question REACHED us)!

So it is right on our part to consider the time when it actually reaches us OR

RATHER THE TIME WE ACTUALLY 'SEE' THE QUESTION!!

With greetings and regards to all,

CSK
