Guest guest
Hi Listmembers, I would like to know if it is a matter of professional ethics for an astrologer not to divulge any birth data about another person without his/her prior permission. The professional astrologer gave out some of my birth placements to her public list, naming my name. This was immediately after I departed her list! She denies any breach of professional ethics. My protests have been met with much discouraging rhetoric, and an announcement that my name is blocked. Lest I continue in ignorance, I now ask the vedic community what is the standard of ethics regarding a professional astrologer's knowledge of another's birth data. In your opinion: Is it considered a breach of professional ethics for a professional astrologer to reveal details of one's birth data to the public without prior permission, or is it not? Many thanks for your opinions, esteemed community! Best to all, Carol Hook

Apologies to Carol Hook for unintentional transgression. Although no data was revealed it was obviously unacceptable to Ms Hook. Hopefully the matter can rest now whilst we attempt to avoid the sting of this malefic Mars transit (exalted in Capricorn) that has seen a rise in conflicts and horrible accidents. It may be wise to propitiate Mars in the hope of averting more conflict :-) Best Wishes, Wendy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wendy Vasicek: Vedic Astrologer http://welcome.to/Vedic Astrology/ JyotishVidya wenvas ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Guest guest
Dear Wendy and other friends, Hare Krishna. Happy Divali to all. > Hopefully the matter can rest now whilst we attempt to avoid the sting of > this malefic Mars transit (exalted in Capricorn) that has seen a rise in > conflicts and horrible accidents. Shivakumar PS: It is my considered opinion that astrologers (professional or otherwise) are just like doctors. They should not reveal any personal data (for any reason) until they take prior permission from the person concerned!
