Guest guest
Dear Krishna, I did download a text version of BPHS from a website a while back but can't recall the URL. I have it in MS Word and would be happy to e-mail it as an attachment to whoever would like it. E-mail me privately so not to clutter the list. I don't know of Jaimini sutras available on net, but Sanjay Rath has a nice translation in book form. Guest guest
This is the URL to the books on the Russian Website: http://www.philosophy.ru/library/asiatica/indica/ Now when you get to this page, it looks like garbage, but SCROLL WAY DOWN and you'll find links in ENGLISH that you can actually read, and there you'll see alot of books available. The BPHS book is only book one from Ranjan pubs.

Guest guest
Natabara, If you'd read the thread properly you would have seen that my response was to a post that specifically cited BPHS as the authority for 5/9 Nodal aspects. >>>Namaste Wendy and Deepak,In his new book James Braha says, Rahu and Ketu aspects5th and 9th according to sage Parashara in BPHS andhe finds that to be true in his 20 year experience.Hari OMHari Das<<< Best Wishes,Wendy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Wendy Vasicek: Vedic Astrologerhttp://www.members.tripod.com/ganesh_astro/JyotishVidyawenvas (AT) dingoblue (DOT) net.au~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Wendy you <<Nowhere in BPHS are there any aspects given for the Nodes>> me Are you saying that any information outside the BPHS is not valid? There are 18 fathers of vedic astrology and the BPHS is only one text coming from Parasara Muni. There are many texts waiting to be found or some knowledge have remained oral in a "parampara" or knowledge passed down from master to student. In 1975 i heard about the Matsya project which had the intention to travel in India, and convince some families to allow the taking of pictures of some old vedic texts dug out from holes, and bury them later. The project wanted to put those photos in micro films and do some research. I do not have further information about it. This is only an example of missed knowledge. Best wishes Natabara Das Best wishes natabara
