Guest guest
Overview of coming "Dasha Merge" feature Part 2 of 3 ------------------- This picture is a close up of the menus that you can set for each of up to six dashas which you are merging. The first controls the levels. Although the new version supports up to 8 levels of dasha in all dashas, in this feature I limited it to 6. The second menu allows you to select which dasha you are interested in. There may be other dashas added prior to release. Those shown are for sure, finished, no games. In case you aren't familiar with them, what you see there is the main dashas known as Vimshottari, Yogini, Astottari and Kalachakra, along with the important conditional dashas outlined in BPHS. For example, the Dwisaptati-Sama dasha is one which applies if the Native has Lord of the 7th in 1st or vice versa. I have this condition in both Rasi and Navamsa, so it applies to me. Because they apply only under certain conditions, they are called "Conditional Dashas". The last menu allows you to choose for whom you are merging the dasha. You can thus view multiple persons dashas side by side, or for just one person. "Merge Events" brings in the persons events previously entered if any so you can what dashas the person was in at the time of the events. Event Lines Only does that- it removes all other lines in the resultant lists, so that you can view JUST the event lines.
