Guest guest
<<Dear all,I'm looking for those informations :- I'd like to know when Moon enters, each day, in nakshatra- I'm also interested by knowing the Moon's spirituel calendar, based on"tithis"- And... because it's too long (and not precise) to calculate with my (old)jyotish software, I'd like to know when all the planets (Sun to Ketu) enterin a particular sign (Aries, Taurus...).Could someone tell me where I can find these informations (websites....)P.S. Important : I'd like to have those dates in GMT hours !Thank you very much in advance :-)best wishes and regards,Marie-Christine Sclifet>> Dear MarieThe Moon in naksatras is very important and among other things it gives the tara balas according to your janma naksatra. Regarding the thithis, or moon days, they are important as well. There are 15 MDL moon day light days from the new to full moon and 15 MDD, moon dark days from the full to the new moon. Important activities started on the bad moon days have the tendencies to produce bad results. Like planting spring potatoes in the spring time. Malefic days in increasing proportion are the 4,6,8,9,12 and 14th. The 4th is the mildest and the 14 the worst. FAsting of grains on ekadasi days (11th days) helps to advance in spiritual life. The local sunrise time determines the civil moon day. If the sunrise "looks" at the 11 tithi, the 11th moon day rules the day. There are some complicated rules about finding the right civilian moon day but that rule is the simplest one. Aalso, tithis helps to celebrate festival days like Ganesh, Durga, Shiva or appearance or disappearance of great saints in your religious calendar. I used to cslculate my calendars by hand (time consumming) since 1978 but since 1981 i got help wityh a jyotish software which it is helpful but i have to copy the info by hand and then type it in a calendar form to help my students and friends to have a simple and practical view. I do not know of web sites giving that info. I am glad that you are following the basics in jyotish, that info is very useful to you and to those asking direction from you. <<dates in GMT hours !>> All my dates are in GMT. I hope this is helpful. You will find some info for OCt in the next posting. Best wishes Natabara Das
