Guest guest
Namaste Robert, I am glad that you liked my near death experience story. I was under the Mercury bukti which is atmakaraka in my chart. I wanted to think that it was strong enough to minimize the bad effects because after all "it can not happen to me". I heard the warnings before and read in a Jataka that during the atmakaraka bukti "The native loses a lot". It is difficult to translate or understand a Jataka. However, after my experience, i went back to my atmakaraka buktis of Rahu and Jupiter and now i can see that in those times i really lost a lot because i left a kind of life to take another one. In my RaMe, i was in university and i moved from architecture to philosophy and i ended in europe. I lost the security of a career and natal country and i landed in a different culture. I lost indeed a lot but i took or corrected my direction and learned astrology and vedic cultures. In my JuMe, i healed the after effects of a divorce. I lost a home, wife, 3 kids, telephone but i took a new direction. In my SaMe, i got this illness that it is not permanent or terminal but very slow. I will definitely change my approach to life and i will have to start my career from scratch. Definitely Saturn in my vedic chart is Maha-Maheswara. A great teacher indeed and merciful. Thanks for the rules. <<Study Maharshi Jaimini Upadesa Sutras (the best translation.commentary is by Sanjay Rath, and is available from most book sellers), to get these and many other details on Brahma, Maheswara, and Rudra, and their applications in Ayur (longevity) Jyotish>> At present i am very limited and i can only get books from my local library and mine. Once i get on my feet i will get the books from Sanjay and Narasimha because they have a lot of interesting info. In my library i think that i have the books on Jaimini by Raman. Yes, i got Jaimini Sutras by Suryanarain Rao and Studies in Jaimini Astrology (4th edition) by Raman. I will have a look on them. best wishes Natabara Das
Guest guest
Dear Natabara, Namaste - At 09:57 AM 10/5/01 +0100, you wrote: >Namaste Robert, > >What you are saying is very important and interesting regarding the system >of Sarvatobhadra chakra. > ><<When, for example, malefics transited the >Jati and Karma naksatras in Bill Gate's chart, he ran into all kinds of >legal problems with Microsoft>> The birth data that is available from most sources for Bill Gates is as follows: 10/28/1955 21:15 PST Seattle, WA Now, I use a rectified time of 21:21 for Gates, as this puts the lord of the Hora lagna (Jupiter) into the rising Navamsa of Taurus. Since the Ghatika lagna also attains a Navamsa of Taurus, this forms a maha-yogada, or combination for great wealth and fame, according to Maharshi Jaimini. Using 21:15, you would get a different perspective. Gates himself gave a time of 22:00, although records show differently. >The first thing that any student of astrology should do after reading a >system is to apply that system to his/her own horoscope. > >So, i will do so with my own chart. In this way i can see very easily that Naksatra 4 (Rohini) is >Jati, Naks 10 is NadhNA, 13 is Karma, 15 is Desa, 16 is Aabisheka, 19 is >Sambatika, 21 is samudayika, 22, is adhani 25 is vainasika and 1 or Asvini >is Manasa for me. This would definitely be a good approach. Go back, and find the periods of challenges, as well as the periods of prosperity for Gates (or anybody else), and then test the system that had been described. My suggestion, however, would be to first make a study of the Sarvatobhadra Chakra. Note the following books: "Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach" by Narasimha Rao. This gives the basics of the system, although in not too much detail. You can, however, figure out the essence of it from the chapter on Transits in this book. " Mystics of Sarvatobhadra Chakra", by M.K. Agarwal. This books is devoted to the whole system, and a lot of good research and illustrations are given. Let us know what you find out, Natabara!
