That Mercury turns retrograde will only add fuel to the fire ! Mars, the planet of war has already sown seeds of destruction. Mars and the South Node were in Moola at the time of the attack. Mars in the war-like Sagittarius aspecting Jupiter on that Black Tuesday has created this War. It was Mars, Mars all the way as Moon was in Mrigasira, a martian constellation! Mars cruelly and powerfully aspected Gemini, the sign of the U S. Jupiter, the planet of peace was afflicted by the North Node. Using force to subdue an enemy is fraught with dangerous consequences. "If everything is energy, anything is possible." - Al Einstein om shanti, sabine I think we need to not lose sight of the fact that (equally) Mars is receiving the aspect of divine planet Jupiter. This tells me that the fire of Mars can be quenched by prayer and meditation...and this is what's happening!...all over the world people are being called to prayer...... Let's strengthen the influence of Jupiter by being diligent in our meditation practices and offering prayers for our friends AND enemies alike. Jupiter-Rahu conjunction is a Guru- Chandala Yoga and there are so many Chandala Gurus ( Misleading Gurus ) leading the war. Chandala Guru means one who distorts Religion ( whose doctrine is Love and Non-violence ) and uses violence for religio-political ends. Familair with this figure ? Is Jupiter in Gemini powerful ? The constellation of Aridra has a major role to play, is it not ? Isnt this constellation ruled by Rudra, the Deity of destruction ? But just a few points that may help to shift the focus to a more positive outcome if I may. First: The (Jupiter) conjunction with Rahu is quite wide (13.32 degrees). Second: Jupiter at 20.21 Gemini is in his own nakshatra. Third: The power of yagyas (remedies/prayers) to strengthen Jupiter cannot be denied. Certainly the (potential) power for harm is there...and not only on the military plane...natural flare ups (mother nature) are also a possibility. But we all know the principle behind yagyas..."an action performed to divert the course of karma yet to come". To deny the power of prayer/meditation/yagyas to strengthen Jupiter is to deny the power of divine (Jupiter) within us all. It has been dynamically intense & transformative, yes, with some amazing car accidents, 2 broken ankles & a house fire, but not necessarily "catasrophic" or a "crucfixion" (at least not YET : ) (esoteric astrology writings of Alice Bailey specify grand fixed crosses as crucifixtion!) Jupiter is also both my AK & Maheswara & Mars is the dispositor of my AK too, so....for what that's worth to anyone, positive or negative. And in the Grand Scheme of things, we can pray & meditate for the Highest Good for all......but our ignorance & inability to perceive "correctly" what the Highest for all is, that is what makes us PERCEIVE & feel like we are suffering. And: I may be repeating some stuff already written, but just in case I'm not, here's some more not so positive additions about that NY WTC chart: Jupiter is Maheswara in this event chart & he is in a "Rahu ruled" nakshatra-Ardra. Gemini is the AL too. If we maintain this "birth" chart to look at future terrorist events, (which I am not so sure we should do), t Sa will move into Gemini in July 2002 & then aspect this AL AK Su 12th Leo who happens to be Brahma planet, A8 & 22nd drekkana. Event is also a sadi-sati chart. tSa currently aspects that 6th house in this event chart which are both 22nd drekanna & 64th navamsa. I find it interesting the KL is in Scorpio with Gulika-Mandi values, TSa asp & Pluto. Although Lg Virgo is dangerous as 64th drek & 3rd from AL, the locations of A4, A5, A9 & A10 speak of potentially positive things & can give form of raja yoga too; Also Me as exalted PK & LL can perhaps beneficially enhance this Gemini. This may be a Ra-Ju yoga in Gemini, but Ra rules the 6th too, goes to the 10th here, putting a geja kesari yoga "around Rahu", even if influenced by Ma & Ra ruling naks. However, the problem is not caused by Mangal. Mangal is in friendly sign(guru sign)and Guru and Mangal are in mutual kendra. Opposition is not considered evil in Jyotisha Dristis, unless the grahas are inimical to each other. Grahas in kendra act as mutual coworkers according to Parashara, while guru and mangal in mutual dristi or yuti tend to give results of Guru Mangala Yoga which gives virtues and good behaviour. The problem is twofold: 1. Guru conjunction with Rahu, since Guru stands for world peace, while Rahu tends to steal the satya from Guru 2. Malefics are in kendra from Guru, thus evil Sarpa Yoga is caused, broken by Guru. In such cases, yes, Guru should be strengthened to break the evil. More prayers...
