Guest guest
Hi Friends and those who do not like me! Please use the erase button if you don´t like my views at all, I´m fed up of being attacked for expressing honest opinions! Renee has told me off for "interfering" in matters that concern the US, has monopolized the tragedy for his beloved America. I appreciate his feelings, but know that he has not understood me at all! Others have objected to non-astrological letters from me. Fine. Meanwhile the dimensions have changed, much of my first letter - with perhaps ill-chosen words - has been confirmed, at least as far as I can see on my TV and the local coverage. 1. At least one base for the terrorists was Germany, where I live. Our european goverments have now declared full support for the US. Next to the US, Germany is today the strongest nation financially in the west. WE ARE TARGET NO.2! 2. I was born in India. For rather different reasons, INDIA IS TARGET NO.3! Despite all dementis etc. India is an ally of the Nato and is a thorn in the side of Pakistan. Pakistan has supported terrorists and the Taliban. Today, torn between existence and loyalty, Pakistan is trying to solidarize with the US, but this is only opportunism, not conviction. 3. The next target will be Japan, probably .... The Terrorist organization is spread all over the world. Thousands and thousands of innocent people from the Middle-East live in our western lands. In fact in all countries of the world. A minority creeps in, behaves like perfect citizens and plans this terror. How can the potential terrorists, the so-called sleepers, be detected? Can we harrass all people from the Middle-east in our lands? How can any democracy protect itself? The terrorist organization is NOT a new thing. In the later 1970s they were active. They were "put down" theoretically, but sporadic attacks - in Germany too - continued. Now they have developed more effective methods, 25 years later! Eliminating Osama - will it help? Eliminating his training grounds - will it help? Will they all huddle in their training grounds or meeting places? What are their hideouts? Ruins and huts! What are their training grounds? Any place in the forests and meadows of the mountains. What of their arsenals? They are only a handful at a time. Destroy their arsenals, but they can buy enough guns again - esp. in the US, as accredited citizens! Kill Osama - but will that end the terror? On the TV I have seen takes of the followers of Osama: every one of them says, "If I die, another will take my place!" Osama will also be replaced, the organization will exist, as also the money!... The money will, IMHO, be so investiert that no democratic law can block it, or even find a connection to Osama to do so! But their main weapon is KAMIKAZE - the readiness to die for the cause! This cannot be fought with guns or bombs. The serpent will rear its head again and again, with new tactics. If we want to stop this, we can do so only if we hit at the root. Hate against the WEST - not just the US but also Europe - is the cause of the terror. We must eliminate this hate, the reasons for this hate, not just those who develop this hate. On TV I see again and again Osama declaring war on the US: he does it calmly, with absolute coldness and conviction: "America is stealing our oil and has desecrated our sacred cities Mecca and Medina. The Americans are terrorists and we have to pay them back in their own coin!" The US has tolerated the Taliban, hoping to get their concession for laying an oil pipe-line through Afghanistan........ Or the plight of the Palestinians, for decades driven out of their homes and forced to live in camps, neither their rights nor wishes recognized. There is enough reason for this murderous hate: The US has tolerated the Taliban, hoping to get their concession for laying an oil pipe-line through Afghanistan........ Or the plight of the Palestinians, for decades driven out of their homes and forced to live in camps, neither their rights nor wishes recognized. All too often dictators have been supported, who oppress their people, keep them in ignorance and poverty. Aid is given to their goverments, but the people do not benefit. In the present situation we cannot use the alleged support of these dubious regimes, we need the friendship of the people. Only they can suppress the terror that sprouts in their midst. We may spend 20 billion dollars to fight. But will it not be better to say, "Destroy your bombs, we´ll give you butter"? If we help the people directly by investing in tose countries, create places of work, help the people to earn and have a decent life, the war will be won. A poor country is a source of danger! This jehad is not a war of Islam, but a war of poverty, born out of desperation. Political and military solutions are in the end useless. Only economical help DIRECTLY to the people will gain peace and friendship. The true alliance between the US and Europe was created by the Marshall Aid.... A poor country is a source of danger! regards Mani

Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah -------------------------- Dear Mani, Why don't you take a break and come to kashmere for a holiday or maybe if you are one of those devout ones, perhaps join the Yatra to Amarnath. In the latter course you only have one weapon against the AK 47 and that is OM Namah shivaya... Many still take the trip and get killed in large numbers. Talking of butter, what do you think the Govt of India has done in kashmere for the past fifty years other than giving butter.. what happened to vajpayeeji's bus ride to Lahore. Don't get me wrong, but the truth is that the goodness should not be mistaken for weakness. Let us not be weak. Let us face the truth at least now. We need to draw a line of tolerance somewhere and it is here. I agree that Krishna had tried for peace till the end like offering the compromise formula of five villages or Rama wanted to forgive Ravana even after defeating him in the battle, but did the other party agree? After the event is over all in this list may say it was destined... so be it. Best Wishes Sanjay Rath - <subra <gjlist> Saturday, September 15, 2001 1:39 PM [gjlist] Osama bin Laden: a political matter > Hi Friends and those who do not like me! > > Please use the erase button if you don´t like my views at all, I´m fed up of > being attacked for expressing honest opinions! > > Renee has told me off for "interfering" in matters that concern the US, has > monopolized the tragedy for his beloved America.
