Dear brother Mani,

<<You had a stroke, but I was dying in

stages since June last year and my recovery started only last month. >>

Oh no, thank goodness for that, i did not have a stroke. An stroke is more

lethal. I had only a brain haemorrhage which is heavy but not like an stroke.

I too am dying, eventually y have to die and re-incarnate somewhere else where

my tutors decide.

It is interesting that you and i went to hospital this year. Like you i too i

am recovering.

I was passing the Jupiter Barbella at home, talking to a friend and sitting in

front of my computer. I wish that i heard of this before but i never heard of

it before. It was a Thursday afternoon and suddenly i felt a terrible pain in

my head above my left eye. I thought it was a migraine although i never had one

before, only headaches.

I ate some bread in order to take a powerful pain killer and went to lied down

in the sofa. From time to time on my knees i was vomiting on a plastic bowl.

It went for ages.

I do not like to bother doctors, i see them only in emergencies. The ambulance

men came for me but i kicked them gentle and told them to go away, they could

not take me without my consent. I also spoke in the telephone to a lady doctor

that was trying to convince me to go to hospital.

I do not remember either the ambulance men or the Tel conversation, i was dying.

At about 10pm i wanted to go to the toilet but my legs did not responded and i

asked a friend to carry me to the toilet. In the toilet i was alone and

realised that i had to go to hospital.

The local hospital 1 gave me a bed. The following day they knew my problem and

took me in ambulance to hospital 2 at 30 miles away.

In hospital 2, they kept asking me my name and put a light on my eyes for 2 days

until i started to recover. Day 3, a nurse told me that i had to eat something

cos they were not used to see somebody fasting.

But i had to eat with my head down the pillow. They were waiting for the

results of the brain scan. I asked when i was going to have it and they told me

that scan men do not work at weekends and only on Wednesday.

I complained about it and i had my scan on Tuesday. They injected a dye in my

aorta of the right leg to scan my brain.

After that i could eat while sitting cos the brain was ok but a puzzle cos did

not revealed the source of the haemorrhage.

So you see, doctors are the same all over. Kali yuga doctors. In all i was 18

days in 2 hospitals.

<<Who wrote your notebook?>>

Me.

<<Adi-Shankara did change the paths of many! >>

He is Lord Shiva.

<<Do you KNOW this or is it your opinion? >>

I know it, Mother gave me this body. And i am talking about our great mother,

the eternal consort of Lord Shiva.

<<would have added, "I want your company and love!">>

Brother Mani, She is always with you and her love is always with you as well.

<<As Simone de Beauvoire said, "the poison is often not in the bitter

pill, but in the sugar coating!">>

I like her style, i have her horoscope and studied her bio.

<<Polynesian societies>>

I too once tought that the policies of Polynesians were going to work in this

society, but they are still many sick people here that they will search for

their kicks.

<<with your PRESENT understanding. >>

Yes, even if i see God, it will be according to my present understanding. I

know that and i do not make any illusions about it.

To see God or reality i have to purify my life and eyes in 100%.

<<The bar code on all the articles we purchase consist of the following

sequence: 6 ?????????? 6 ??????????? 6. All internet addresses begin with www

= the hebrew number 666!>>

Very interesting for all those 666 phobics. This numbers is a solar number.

Thanks for sharing your vision which is part of yourself.

Something interesting is that while we are dying, we think a lot and my life is

not going to be the same again. Many messages have come to me and i am

digesting them.

Due to the medicines tama guna increases and it give us certain bad trips. Once

the body eliminates them, we get a glimpse of satva guna.

I am lucky, 8,000 people a year in this country gets the same attack like mine.

4,000 die within the first 2 weeks of the attack. I heard recently of a couple,

they were walking, he felt cos his legs failed. She rang the ambulance and when

they came, his soul was gone. Another lady was found in a big city without

identification. The police taught that she was drunk cos of her speech and

walk. She fell and hurted her head. Police traced her relatives 3 days later

and she spent 3 months in hospital.

When i felt nausea i used to take a medicine that it worked in 3 minutes but i

had to be in bed cos i could not walk. Hospital gave me 3 of those pills every

day but recommended 39 a day for mental patients.

One of the side effects of that medicine is to become photophobic (allergic to

light).

Yesterday i went to see some pyrotechnic lights for half an hour. Now, 24 hours

later i am still ill. And the fluorescent lights in supermarkets make me ill,

tired, and sick for few days depending on the exposure time.

I still cannot talk well or walk but i am recovering. I have good and bad days

and i struggle to do some things that healthy people take it for granted.

Some last interesting thing. In hospital 2, there was a guy for few days only.

At night when we were falling sleep, he used to shout the name of Gauranga every

10 seconds for about 5 minutes. I could not ask him why, cos i did not have

speech. It was a room of 6m x 8m with only 6 patients and this guy was on a bed

opposite to mine.

Dear Natabara,

What a dramatic event you passed through--our List is fortunate to have

you and Mani and so many others here on our list who have overcome or are now

overcoming extreme challenges to one's existence. I am heartened to realize

the inspiration of you and these other persons who by example, show us a

resurrection of will and spirit.

I am always studying health from the standpoint of alternative healing

methods that are not expensive but do promote health. Oftentimes alternative

health therapy uses one's intuition just as a chef might do when putting

together a new recipe; he must create it with a knowledge of the ingredients'

effects as well as understanding how certain things might be effective in

restoring normal health.

One thing I know is that Vitamin A is helpful to the eyesight. I also

know it has been discovered to be lacking in those who spend much time under

fluorescent lighting, as well as being deficient in those having arthritis.

Vitamin A promotes healthy, smooth skin--a deficiency of Vitamin A causes the

skin to become rough and flaky, as well as difficulty seeing at night.

Vitamin An is an oil, or balm to the skin and joints, as well as promoter of

'visual purple' that the eyes use in order to see at night.

My hypothesis is that the medicine you have been taking is likely to

interfere with Vitamin A absorption in your body. St. John's Wort is also

one of those herbals that cause photosensitivity. I do not know whether in

either case, Vitamin A would be helpful. So I offer you this as food for

thought: If you have a long delay in being able to see in a dark room (it

should be about 12 seconds after the room is darkened, that your eyes are

seeing in the dark), then it is likely you will benefit from taking this

inexpensive fish oil vitamin each day. My hope is that it will also heal

your eyes' photosensitivity within about 3 weeks (Edgar Cayce said the cycle

of healing of the eyes is about 3 weeks), as well as bring oil to skin and

joints and all tissues including the lungs. Or, you could eat a lot of fish

and get natural iodine (a metabolism booster) in addition to the Vitamin A

and protein from the fish!

Mani once asked what uses are there for Atomidine. I do not know

whether anyone responded to his question. Atomidine is a specially prepared

iodine formulation that Edgar Cayce recommended many times in his readings.

This clear iodine is suitable for internal use in minims--very tiny amounts,

such as mixing a dropperful of Atomidine in a glass of water, then half the

mixed water is poured out, and the remaining half glassful of iodized water

is then filled with more water. This is used as a tonic to a sluggish

endocrine system, also as a cleanser against bacterial infections. And of

course, iodine in its regular form, or as Atomidine, may be applied to the

outer body to heal skin lesions and infections.

Another powerful healing agent is castor oil. Books are written

about its healing properties when applied to the body by the use of a wool

flannel or cotton flannel cloth soaked in castor oil, wrung out, then placed

over the abdomen or wherever healing is needed, and a heating pad is placed

on top of this to allow the oil to gently warm and soothe the body. The

application is about 1/2 hour, 2-3 times a week or as often as the person

wishes to have this pack.

I have benefited from a powerful cure for tonsillitis, as a result of

using an Edgar Cayce recipe to get rid of staphylococcus and streptococcus

bacterial infections. This simple and inexpensive recipe involves 3

ingredients many of us have at home:

1) Sulfur, a yellow powdered element mined from the earth, called

"Flowers of Sulfur" in the local drugstore. Used topically to kill fungal

infections such as athlete's foot, it is more effective than modern 'sulfa'

drugs, and has no side effect other than making a sulfur odor about the

person for a few days. Gardeners use sulfur in their gardens to kill plant

fungus and disease, but I prefer to use the small bottle of sulfur found in

the drugstore.

2) Cream of Tartar, a white powder that could be in your kitchen

spice cabinet, is not a spice but a leavening agent used in making cakes and

breads. It is tart-tasting just as its name implies. Chemists refer to this

white baking powder ingredient as Potassium Bitartrate.

3) Epsom Salts, which might be in your bath cabinet, is a crystalline

form of Magnesium Sulfate that is often added in large quantities to the

bath, for effectively soaking poisons out of the body, and is taken

internally in small quantities to aid in elimination.

Edgar Cayce said a good cure for tonsillitis is to mix a heaping

tablespoonful of each one of the 3 above ingredients, in a small dish. The

resulting powder will look light yellow. I use a mortar and pestle to grind

the ingredients together when I make this up, but that's not necessary, all

you need is equal parts of sulfur, potassium, and magnesium.

To take this as a remedy, measure out a teaspoonful of the mix, place

in a glass, and add hot water as hot as you can drink, to the glass, stirring

it well. The sulfur will tend to float on top. The taste is gritty and

tart. Drinking a hot glassful of this mix 3 times a day will cure

tonsillitis or any other bacterial infection in a shorter time than modern

medicines such as amoxycillin do. When the taste becomes so unbearable that

the patient cannot drink any more, he is well on the way to perfect health

again. Many friends as well as my family and I have used this recipe that

Edgar Cayce gave us, and all agree it works! (One friend says he adds

powdered orange drink ('Tang' is the product name) in his mix, so that it

tastes better, and he uses a high-speed blender to mix the glassful, saying

it helps the sulfur stay suspended in the water.)

Edgar Cayce was interested in promoting good health for all persons,

and also promoting the least use of allopathic medicines wherever possible,

to avoid unknown side effects. My conviction is that God has already provided

us a way to overcome different life challenges...but it remains for each

seeker to find the right way for him or her to reach that victory for self.

To you Natabara, and to all our dear List members: may you experience

increasingly good health! Know that contemplation upon the Divine is one way

that health is greatly benefited, also, as what can be more health promoting

than focusing upon the loving Source of all life?

Best wishes,

Carol
