Guest guest
Dear Manoj, Apart from those (on the list) already involved with healing, i.e., naturopaths, ayurvedic practitioners, homeopaths, etc., I doubt if any of us are about to hang our shingle up on the front door and start practising medical astrology. However a complete astrologer must have a complete understanding of jyotish; this is not possible if certain areas of study are ignored or considered outside of our field...this is non-sense! I have a dear sister who has suffered chronic back pain for most of her adult life. In spite of her pain she's a jolly soul...the typical easygoing fat lady (as broad as she is high)...because of her happy outgoing disposition, the family in particular and uncaring people in general, have made light of her physical pain...in many cases they even disbelieve her altogether. Reading her horoscope has opened my eyes to the fact that her chronic back pain is very real. Surely an astrologers role is not just to know how many children a native may have, or how much wealth, how many marriages, successful career or what; surely the astrologer should strive to understand (completely) the burden of karma inflicted on his client...your advice can only be half good if you only have half the knowledge. I trained as a nurse when I was young and also (later) studied naturopathy, and more recently taken short courses on Ayurveda...so the interest is there (of course), but do I consider myself a medical practitioner?...NO!!! Do I give medical advice?...NO!!! I give astrological advice, and the more complete my knowledge, the better advice I can give. If you have Doctors now studying astrology with you, then you must have some valuable knowledge you could share with us all. This would increase our understanding and only help to further this divine science :-)) Best Regards, Wendy

Guest guest
Dear Wendy, Thats the correct approach. As astrologers we must warn people that they are about to enter a bad phase in life. Y'day only, my cousin elder brother came home after a long gap of 8 years. During these 8 years, he has suffered a lot. Now look at the chart : Leo lagna with Venus/Rahu in the second house. Sun in the third, Jupiter/Mercury in the 4th, Saturn in the sixth, Mars in the sixth house and Moon/Ketu in the 8th house. See heavy affliction to Venus and Moon. Now he is a complete fickle minded person. Now he is passing Moon dasha which is abot to end in a couple of years. Earlier it was Sun dasha which has completely ruined his life. He does not enjoy good relations with anyone around in the family. But what to do, he has to suffer the Prarabdh. So I warned him to be careful for another two years when Mars takes over. Being the ninth lord, he may bring in some relief but is placed in the sixth house and in divisional charts Saturn and Mars are related with each other through aspects. So in fact I do not see much improvement but I did prepare him mentally to face it. Medical astrology is again such a field. We have to work continuously but dont need to hang boards outside our house : Medical Astrologer. We all have our share of success and failures. As I have told the list many times, the failures encourage me whereas successes depress me because the successes tend to go to head and make one complacent. regards, Manoj >"Wendy Vasicek" <wenvas >gjlist ><gjlist> >[gjlist] Medical Astrology >Mon, 27 Aug 2001 23:07:46 +0800 > >Dear Manoj, > >Apart from those (on the list) already involved with healing, i.e., >naturopaths, ayurvedic practitioners, homeopaths, etc., I doubt if any of >us are about to hang our shingle up on the front door and start practising >medical astrology. Guest guest
Dear Nicholas, Just very briefly (sorry) mind weary today My sister born Oct. 11 1938 (13.32) Melbourne, Australia (Capricorn rising), has Jupiter fallen in lagna and according to my literature Jupiter represents liver, ears, naval, hips, etc...whilst 6th house (and Virgo) represent region of naval, hips (back, waist, small intestine), etc...6th lord Mercury although in own sign in 9th is combust 8th lord Sun and is aspected by afflicted Jupiter. Both Mercury and Sun are in nakshatra of Mars who is in the 8th house of chronic illness. Note also exchange of signs between lagnesh Saturn and Saturn's dispositor Jupiter, and the 8th aspect of Mars. Both Saturn and Mars can inflict pain. Rgds, Wendy BTW I didn't notice the advert, what was it ? Guest guest
Namasta my friends I have been a list member for a few years now, but I usually don't have the time to post a lot. Not to mention I type like a snail and my joytish Knowledge is kids stuff compared to most of you. But I sure do love to come home from work and reading all of your postings. As some of you may remember me I am the Ayurvedic specialist whom is trying to incorporate joytish as medical astrology; lining the planets up with the chakras and then using gem therapy to help heal the patient, a long with herbs diet and lifestyle changes. I recently help heal a young girl of Hashimoto's disease (her body was attacking her thyroid) and thought all of you might be interested in the details. The medical doctors wanted to remove her thyroid which she was not to happy about. It turns out she had mercury (5th chakra = thyroid) debilitated and sharing the 8th house with her sun = (self) 2 degrees apart and Saturn in her third house which also involves the thyroid. Using the lesser of the gems (semi-precious) I used a strand of green tourmaline around her neck to give mercury strength an herb formula and diet changes. I was amazed on how fast she turned around. I have never seen any of my patients turn around that quick. I can only believe that the green tourmaline did most of the work since it takes most herbs a few weeks to work. This is the kind of results I live for! she is only nineteen works two jobs and says that this is the first time in a long time that when she gets out of bed in the morning she actually wakes up. I hope to be a good enough astrology some day to be able to see the potential disease before the manifestation stage instead of after it. Bless you my friends ......... Noel .......... I know some members on this list collect medical charts so when you post it is good to present the full birth details , lagna and degree so that those doing research can be benefitted .Please post other interesting cases that you come across . It is good to hear that you were able to help your client and such reports are inspiring tp those studying this sacred science . Guest guest
Dear Georgette, Nicholas, Salaam Mu & List Members Thanks for the interest! 1st case DOB:3/28/83 Time:4:30PM. Place: Auburn CA. 95603 (30 miles east of Sacramento) lat: 38 N 53 long: 121 W 4 2nd case DOB:12/28/84 Time:10:27 PM. Place: Roseville CA. (20 miles east of Sacramento) lat: 38 N 45 long: 121 W 17 This young girl has the worst Endometriosis her Doctor has said that she has seen in her 14 years of practices. Her moon is at 25% power in the 8th house 2 degrees 50 minutes in Pisces. I believe this is most of the problem I have her wearing a moon stone because she can't afford a real pearl of good size. It may take a long time to see good results with this. she got a lot of build up to release and the pain keeps it Always present in the mind. She's doing a lot of herbs & diet changes, she's a real challenge for me. Dear Salaam Mu! I too Have a problem with this darn money thing. I too turn nobody down. these two girls are free! they can afford me and have no were else to turn. I normally charge $200.00 for the first visit and $50.00 for every visit there after. If its an easy case (20 hours of work) I'll make $10.00 an hour. If it's a hard case (40 hours of work or more) it can drop down to as much as $3.00 an hour.I do a lot of research and cross referencing. In my area I can't make a living at it. So I must work else were. I'm find with this, What ever our Creator wish for me and them is good enough. Bless You all .......
