Guest guest
Dear Robin, when I looked at your son`s horoscope, I tried to imagine your fears. I will keep it for medical research in regarding his sleep, eyes and so on. What me wonders, is that cops seem to be the kings in your country and that it is so difficult for them to tolerate all these different people. They claim to be a democratic state and circumstances seem to be similar to russia. I hope for you and the others being in such dilemma, that you will recieve your rights by the help of your advocates and that perhaps something will change for the better. How does your son tolerate this all? Normally I don`t look in our own childrens` charts, I even don`t know there actual bhuktis, it would frighten me. I`m only looking in those persons horoscopes, interesting me in a medical way, but these people may not be close to me, it might be to hard. How do you think about this? Best wishes, Ilona
Guest guest
Dear Ilona, Thanks so much for your post, it helps to know you care. The situation with cops as king (your description is perfect) in this country is probably worsened by the area we live in, being part of the South. This state, South Carolina, has a dismal record in education, not to mention we are #1 in the nation for domestic abuse deaths (and not that heavily populated). The governor of this state is on the front page of the papers bemoaning the Domestic Abuse status, but I know of more and more instances where the cops continue to lie to women who try to report the abuse by telling them they cannot get restraining orders. (that is not the cop's decision, although they claim it is) One of the major problems in law enforcement is that they are legally allowed to lie, and they do so heavily and without conscience. How do you tell the cops from the criminals? My son is taking things far more calmly than I am; he knows to act respectfully no matter what his feelings are, and we have impressed on him not to trust anything they say, not to say anything other than giving his name and asking for his attorney anytime he is asked any questions. He said some of the cops are even telling him they know he doesn't cause trouble and is innocent! But I told him not to trust, be alert, be (act) respectful. He also has to stop being the good samaritan; had he left at the first sign of something wrong happening instead of stopping the man, he wouldn't have been in trouble. He is at this moment taking a test for a scholarship. He does that today & tomorrow, and then Wednesday we meet with his attorney again. I guess having Jupiter, Venus and Mercury in the ascendant (Libra) will have to try to hold the fort against Saturn conj his ascendant, debilitated Sun blazing away in ascendant, Moon in 12th, and Mars in 3rd conj Ketu. Hard for him to keep a low profile (even though he hates being the center of attention)! The Moon in 12th was being transitted by Moon-- in his birthstar! when he was locked up. I wish I'd known about jyotish before having him, I'd had a C-section and put that Moon in 11th. Anyone have any suggestions as to gems/mantras/etc? I'd have to say 'em for him as Rahu in the 9th--you know! Also, Rahu aspects his ruler (9th/12th lord) Mercury, I think that's a karmic tie, right? Thanks so much, again, for writing. Your support is very much appreciated! Namaste, Robin
Guest guest
dear Robin, have you seen your son`s ashtakavarga? His 10th and 11th house are outstanding! This must be very helpful for his career and I hope he will manage his tests with style! I wrote Liliana to look for mantras because I`m not experienced in mantras. Liliana had a very impressing event with mantras. Using the really right gems seems also very difficult to me, because the more you read about it, the more restricting and hidden dangers might occur. I red for example the gem chapter in Houck`s 36 lessons and thought for me, if people knew... Homeopathy unfortunately does not help in "cop-cases", (perhaps we should put some virtuel snake poison - like Lachesis - into their coffees and thus treat their deceitfulness...) So, I`ll send only my good thoughts and wishes for today. Maybe they are of some power too! With love, Ilona
Guest guest
Dear IIona, Thank you again! The ashtakavargas are great in 10th and 11th, but with 11th lord debilitated and with 10th lord in 12th I thought I'd just worry some more. Guess a debilitated Sun (authority problems) combust his Jupiter 3/6 Lord and his Lagna Lord (& 8th) Venus --and there's his Mercury 9th & 12th in Lagna too--teaching him humility (actually 8th & 12th lords in 1st =humilation), but his exalted Saturn must be keeping him calm, he just finished 2 days of exams for the scholarship just like he hadn't been dragged out of bed and off to jail a few days before. He will be meeting with his lawyer some time this week, so we'll know more soon. According to James Braha's new book, Jupiter in Kevin's chart is buffering his Lagna Lord Venus from the Sun a bit. If Jupiter signifies the lawyer, that would be quite an astrology lesson. Mars rules cops, right? Note Ketu conj Mars--making things "weird". I just don't trust that Rahu in 9th getting Mars's aspect--legal matters, that's a lot of malefic influence. On the other hand, having the lawyer take the case for free was good. Kevin would get a kick out of the virtual snake poison (if the cops just knew they were right there in his chart--> Mars in the Rahu/Ketu axis, very snakey) idea of yours! I feel your good thoughts and wishes do have power, and they are very appreciated! Love, Robin
Guest guest
Dear Robin, I somehow didn't note your son's birth info. Would you mind posting it again? I hope things are going well there for him and all your family regarding this, and that this week will shown improvement with all the legal matters. Best regards, Patrice
Guest guest
Dear Patrice, Thanks so much for your supportive words, sorry it took so long to reply, haven't been online. Kevin's birth data is November 12, 1982 5:16 am Savannah, GA (birthtime is exact, at least according to hospital clock). BTW, he was stopped again and harassed when a friend asked him to give her a ride home from work--actually one cop was nice and told him he knew he was innocent, and then another squad car pulled up & two cops started with the harassing. There is a candidate running for mayor here who seems to be interested in doing something about the discrimination against minorities and women (the lying about being able to get restraining orders to women who believe the cops has resulted in putting one woman I know in the hospital--then even after she got one finally, the batterer's lawyer got it cancelled!); we are also in the process of taking measures to document abuses. We'll see where it leads! As smart as the kids are about computers, we could soon have corruption in our city broadcast live over the internet--why not? It's a free country..... I'm thinking what a great civics project: "Our Tax Dollars at Work!" Actually we have a lot of ideas on this, will keep you posted if you're interested. Thanks again.
