Guest guest
Dear Wendy <<Since the entire relative dissolves when Brahma goes to sleep, these bodies of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and Mother Divine must be "absolute" bodies. [And that brings to light the intellect-boggling possibility of having bodies, personalities, etc. IN that area beyond the relative! They are in that area that is subsequent to Being itself, yet still prior to the realm of Brahma's (the Creator's) relative, manifest crea- tion.>> According to the Srimad Bhagavatam (the cream of the Vedas), lord Brahma is a relative creator for this particular universe and he has 4 heads but Brahmas for other universes have more heads according to their universe. In Hindu temples they sing the creation of this brahma and accccording to the tradition he is about 51 years old and he lives for 311 trillion and 40 millions of years (earthly years) or 100 of his years on his relative realm. The Srimad Bhagavatam explains that lord Brahma practises yoga nidra while sleeping and that everething goes to sleep. Manvantaras exist only during Brahma's day cos everything sleeps during his night that last for 4.320,000 X 1,000 of earthly years. The post of lod Brahma and lord shiva can be attained by good karma and they live for many years but eventually everybody has an end. Only Krishna is eternal and a life of Brahma is about 1/5 of a second in His Realm or Dhama. The Srimad Bhagavatam explains that there arte in the Himalayas some guys waiting to be the next manvantaras and their names are mentioned. I rememeber that Dr Raman explians that there are horoscopes showing longevity of 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 years. The Srimad Bhagavatam mentions that we are living on the laand of mrityu (death) and that evreybody has to die eventually. Eternity exist only on His Realm. Demigods declare that they can not give immortality. only Visnu can grant immortality and protection. <<The realm of the personal God of God consciousness fame?>>. The Srimad Bhagavatam mentions a personal God full of mercy. <<A field "between" the relative and the Absolute? Or perhaps the Abso- lute itself - and then what's that "eternal life of absolute Being that lies even beyond? What do you think? Even more to the point, what have you experienced?]>> In my own experience of being close to death, the absolute exists and i am relative. It is His mercy to extend my life. <<Lord Vishnu made him into (or gave him the job of) the pole star (Dhruva),>> Yes, but even Dhruva maharaja has to die at the end of Brahma's life. natabara
