Guest guest
Dear Wendy Yes, life is full of twists. In 1991 i saw the planets in 2001 and realized i was going to be under Saturn main period, sade sati (first touch on 29 June) and Jupiter over my moon. Nothing i could do but wait and see and do my service to the Divine. In 1995, my teachers told me in riddles about the mystery of my previous karma. I can read it in my chart but without the details given by them, that comes with revelation. I was expecting an accident as Mars aspect my ascendant but the "accident" it came when i was sitting on my chair talking. We are so vulnerable. My teachers said that one of our problems is to try to control. We try to control everything without understanding karma. Mantras are very helpful. The mrytunjaya mantra is very powerful. One day some Hindus performed the chanting of the mantra in a park in London asking for the rain to come, but they forgot their umbrellas and got wet. Everybody suffers, sukha and dukha. suffering and enjoying. Karma helps to clarify our status as it can be seen from our vedic charts. Do not give up, we have the right to ask to the Divine. The vedas say that He is far away and He is very close to us. He listens to us, does not matter the name you give to Him, He always listens and answers according to our understanding. My guru maharaja said one day that we should not ask for justice because we do not have the chance, rather, we should ask for His mercy because mercy is above justice. With His mercy everything can be done. He knows best and He always listen to us. I pray for those under suffering. The structure of this universe is perfect but our senses are imperfect. Those working under His service know what they are doing and they are under His supervision. natabara
Guest guest
To all who responded to my original message(Jupiter combust in the 9th), I owe a great thank you. I've recieved quite a few emails which have confirmed suspicions, revealed new aspects to consider, and removed doubts. Hopefully I can return the same favor to others in the future. Another question I have, is off the subject of astology. I've recently borrowed a book on Mantras from my sister. There are many mantras in it, some for healing, spirituality in general, specific ayurvedic mantras, and even planetary mantras for planetary imbalances. The Gayatri mantra is one example. My question is wether these mantras will be successful or not. I've heard it is best to have a bona fide Guru to recommend the proper mantras for you. Otherwise, they may not have as much power. Also, you may end up invoking a mantra that has effects contrary to what you're really looking for, due to the fact that you are not a true expert, or one who understands proper use of mantras(kind of like self-medicating without a doctor). So, should I go ahead and chant mantras like the Gayatri mantra, or other various types? Or should I stay away from it until I can find a Guru who is knowledgeable in such matters? Guest guest
Michael, I would strongly recommend Thomas Ashley-Farrand's site www.sanskritmantra.com . His CD's and tapes are excellent and he has excellent enuniciation which is essential to the correct usage of mantra. His works are also very easy to read for us westerners. -- John M *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 7/19/2003 at 12:01 AM seekingliberation wrote: >To all who responded to my original message(Jupiter combust in the >9th), I owe a great thank you. Guest guest
~ Om Namah Shivaya ~ Dear Brown, This was told to me by Respected Sanjay Ji. There can be no good friend like a Good Mantra and there cannot be worse enemy than Evil Mantra. Gayatri Mantra can be recited by anybody for general well being. You may like to read "Vedic Remedies in Astrology" by Shri. Sanjay Ji, and you can select a good mantra for you. Kind regards, Neeraj Gupta --- seekingliberation <brownmichaela40 wrote: > To all who responded to my original message(Jupiter > combust in the > 9th), I owe a great thank you. Guest guest
Dear Michael, I have gone through your massage, would like to inform you the following: 1) Mantra, is a powerfull remidy that works more strongly if performed in a proper way. 2) As regards selection of Gurus, I would like to inform you, in these days, it very harder to get, good and sacrificed/purified Gurus. So, it is better, if you yourself feel purified to undertake any mantra you can very well do that, which you can reveal some of the member of the list does this way and get result. 3) Gayatree Mantra is more powerfull, for material attainment as it relates to Saturn. Thanks, With best wishes, P K Tripathy. --- seekingliberation <brownmichaela40 wrote: > To all who responded to my original message(Jupiter > combust in the > 9th), I owe a great thank you.
