HA...don't talk to me about Saturn. I live, eat and breath Saturn in both

Western and now Vedic. At least I can pretend there's no Pluto, Uranus or

Neptune in Vedic especially when Pluto (by transit) is now opposite my Moon

....yuck! I have Saturn in Capricorn in both charts in the 10th retro.

Jupiter conjuncts Saturn (wide in western and in the same house in Vedic) and

is also retro in its fallen sign...Capricorn in Vedic. Jup in Aqua in

Western. Gee...I have Mars in its worst degree and sign across the hall in

the 4th house so by some strange parvartani yoga (student here), Mars and

Jupiter switch exalted signs. Hmmmmmmmmmm.... Anyway Moon is in Rohini

(Taurus) and Sun in Taurus here in the second and WHERE is Saturn?

....Yeah....in Taurus! Sade Sati I think it's called? In Western of course

it's in Gemini so I'm getting it coming and going. In my progressed Western

Chart my Sun is opposite my progressed Saturn (LOL). Saturn at the Midheaven

at 28 Cap 59' (MH at 24 Cap) in Western. If you can't beat 'em...join

'em...thank God I have Venus at the Ascendant. It keeps me from jumping off

that Saturn cliff...GEEZ!

Just thought I'd commiserate with ya!

The Mars/Saturn aspect in a horoscope makes the person difficult to be

around for most people, because they are able or apt to combine these

two seemingly opposing forces in some ways in their lives. They are

therefore energetically rigid, or in other words, good at being walls to

other people in some way. It's excellent for being a follower, a good

one, or an officer, or some type of rigid adherent to something

difficult. They can combine energy with endurance, so it's a strong

combination materially if it doesn't rip them apart.

I have a Mars ruled Lagna, and Saturn ruled Moon, which is similar. It's

hard. It's hard to be both energized and slow, childlike and an old

soul, and so on. These two are opposites.

This is not a big help or final word, just a quick thought from someone

currently feeling caged by Saturn, energized and fired up by Mars.

Wow...yup...Nietsche is de man! What doesn't break me ...makes me stronger!

Didn't we carve that in some cave somewhere as a memento of a past life?

Dear Renee,

Saturn and Guru conjunction in your chart even though debilitated are good for

status and career themselves. What is not good is mars neecha I suppose in the

highest debilitation point(as you stated in the worst degre).Look more carefully

at your chart, things are not as always black as they look at first sight..

Best wishes,

Zoran

Renee, I think you're gonna just fit right in!

Curtis, member of the Saturn club, conjunct Ketu, 10th from Moon in

Capricorn. What doesn't kill makes me stronger--or so they say.

I have Saturn with Ketu, Moon, Sun and Mercury in sixth house

(Capricorn) and aspacted by Mars and Rahu from 12th House (Cancer).

Seven planets in a straight line.

True...a chart is more factors than just one and I know this. However what

amazed me and impressed me about Vedic is that the interpretation was able to

explain periods in my life that Western Astrologers could not (not that they are

better or worse...just different). In Western I have a very strong Mars/Uranus

in Leo sextile to Sun in Gemini....leader, fiery, outrageous...you know...very

assertive. Honestly I could never identify fully with those placements. I am

not a typical Gemini (if there is one) as I am very reserved...not social person

here, not a chatterbox in realtime, very serious personality and definately do

not have the Leo "showmanship" qualities that mars in Leo might suggest. So the

interpretation fit with Mars being so different for me in Vedic than in Western.

I have had very 'mixed' extremes in my life as well which shows that despite

debilitations...there are always blessings to as the chart reflects.

Thanks for the positive thoughts...

Dear Akshaya,

These planets at first sight are unfavourably placed. They must be otherwise

well placed in navamsa and other varga charts, or you have suffered so far

from many losses...However, spritual and occult urge is very, very strong..

Best wishes,

Zoran
