Guest guest
Yes, Judgement is also in Jyotish. Strong Jupiter, Ninth House, etc., give the karma of being judgemental, and give the right etc. And yes, judgement should be done according to law, the higher the better. One great Vaisnava Acarya (Guru) was a judge in the British Raj. He did his job. He was not judgemental towards any soul ever, but he was a Judge. It's a job. A duty. That's the nature of Dharma, and the whole point of the Bhagavad Gita, that we have duties to perform, but we should do so in a certain mindset, that is Hinduism. Cops, Judges, Lawyers, Military folk, all have their difficult (Dur) duties, Although I love everyone, I do not associate with people who are in certain places in life, as it's not for my karma or dharma to do so. I am judgemental on one level, Jupiter in the 9th in Sag makes it impossible for me to not be so, but on another level, just seeing ANY soul is in one sense a reminder of God, and a reminder of the bliss of our many-hood all over the globe, but we can't associate or condone EVERYTHING. Like for example, it doesn't help anybody to have Hitlers running around. That's way too bad. It's not OK to allow someone to commit Genocide, so we have to stop him. But he was made by God so to speak, true, and it's just too bad that karma gets to these points, boiling points, where many of us have to suffer to clear the debt, to learn our lessons, to pay our karmic debts. Everything is made by God, and we are all playing various parts to sort it out. I myself play a high part, being priveleged to provide knowledge, and see results from that work, like this list, and so many people have told me I've been pivotal in revealing information to their minds that led them to better places. It's a wonderful dharma and karma I've got going. But it was in my chart at birth, so it's not me actually who did anything at all (as confirmed in Gita). And, because of my strong/good placements, I'm judgemental, way too picky, way too refined, even for my own good, hence I'm alone alot, because nearly everybody bores me or repulses my intellect. I try to socialize, but the discussion level is absurd to me, as nobody is talking about exactly how to save the world. I'm only attracted to serious movers and shakers in and around religious and philosophical activism. I appreciate Deepak Chopra for DOING, I appreciate Nostradamus for thinking and seeing. I think I could be good friends with the ol Dr Nostradamus, and I wish he was around in Eugene today. That would be nice. I appreciate Shakespear and DaVinci, but they're not around either. I like KN Rao for his knarly attitude, but he's in India and getting way old. I would have liked Dr Raman, but he's gone too. I'm lonely as hell. The higher you go, the more you're bored. It's excruciating. So we have to live the good and bad of our karma, and do our duty, there is no other way. You will find that there is total pre-determinism, yes, total, absolutely total, but the free will is what plays out in your mind, and that's the only place it lives, but it's totally real there, completely. Your appreciation and reciprocation with the environment, the WHOLE environment, is your reality, and there you have free will so to speak, you will experience it as free will, it will seem that way, but even there there is conditioning and scripting, and this can get bewildering, but in the end, in the reality of life, you will find your mind is where you live, you have no control actually over anything else, though it may seem you do in some way, like driving a car, it seems you're in control... Woops, there goes a wheel, I didn't know that was loose... woops, the car is rolling over, huh, I didn't want that to happen, .... huh, the windshield is beheading me...huh, I didn't want that to happen... wait, I'm floating out of my body, who's in control here...wait, what are all these beasts I'm suddenly seeing.... Current events: Man sits in cafe, peaceful, car rams through window suddenly. Dead. Family laments. Who's in charge here? Friend checks into hospital with headache. It's a tumor. Shit. Milosovic: Few years ago, commanded death armies, big time, big man. Now sits in cell for rest of life. He could use some Sanskrit mantras. Everybody send him cards and my CD. We could take up a collection to buy him a laptop. Poor guy. 8-O
Guest guest
Just want to share with you a couple of lines I read somewhere long ago about "Free will" vs "Destiny”……. “A person can do what he wishes to do, but he can’t wish what he wants to wish…that is ruled by destiny!!!” Meaning a person might be able to do what he wants to do but his destiny plays a vital role in directing his thoughts…his way of thinking and what he wishes to do and what he doesn’t wish to do……if someone is running a bad dasa/antardasa naturally he might get inclined to bad things and visa versa…..he might feel he is doing what ever he likes to do…but eventually what he likes and what he hates at a particular time itself is decided by destiny. Guest guest
“A person can do what he wishes to do, but he can’t wish what he wants to wish…that is ruled by destiny!!!” YES! Many cannot face it. But yes, it's true. It's a mindwarp. Therefore Sri Caitanya said: Acintya, bedabeda, tattva. It's inconceivable, but we are simultaneously one with, yet separate from, everything, and that's the truth. Acintya inconceivable bedabed one yet different tattva it's the truth Even our thoughts are in destiny. Astrology shows the oneness side more fully than anything else. It basically proves destiny as a concrete reality. The separateness needs no proving, everybody already feels it. Ahhhhh Divine Paradox. Wallow, weep, get up, get free. Free Soul.
