Guest guest
The whole world is a stage and in the eternal drama that is staged there, plots and scenes are already fixed. The roles, the scripts and the spot lights (planetary rays) are all designed and well synchronized. But, who takes which role is not decided. It is a continuing "musical chair" game. All efforts and experiences are dependent on the growth and maturity of the individual soul and independent of the role taken. Are we trying to change the roles already fixed or the experiences and effort of the embodied soul? If we are trying to change the course of events, aren't we foolish. How can we interfere with the natural flow of the Divine Play. Let's just focus our efforts on purely internal matters (mental or more accurately motivations and attitudes) and the resultant experience. Doesn't the Gita teach us that the results are not in our hands and that whatever is destined to happen to a "particular role" is already fixed and cannot be changed. But, the individual experience.. yes we can change that.... all the remedies do just that...If this is untrue, how can astrology itself be true? How can anyone say it is infallible? Can we stop the earth from rotating? Or, the Sun to stop rising? The readings in such Shastras would make you understand the futility of such remedies like gems, kavachs, talisman etc. I will quote a reading tomorrow done by Bhrigu Shastri which astonished me and made my belief in Karma theory stronger and also made me to understand the futility of short term remedies."
