The question of ayanamsa is too complex, and would leave it for the time being.. With the correct birthtime, and Chitrapaksha(lahiri) ayanamsa, I have been consistently arriving at correct results. If you refer to the chart of the lady in quiz one, I am getting Rahu-mars-mars at the time of imigration. 12th house stands for living abrouad coupled with the 9th house. Venus should strongly influence the 12th house, rahu and ketu as well. Grahas in 4/8/ houses speak about reasons for going abroad, being in trine to 12th house. Rahu disposited by guru in 12th house is a clear case. However, if we shift time earlier, the immigration would occur in chandra antara, chandra being more qualified to give immigration being in 9th to 12th house and dispositing venus 9th lord. Futher in D-4, Rahu would be placed in 8th house with sun(lord of 9th) and chandra would be found in 4th house from rahu and disposited by guru in 9th house. D-4 could also indicate good rise of fortune and property with marriage.
