Guest guest
Hi Mani, The other day I visited Sabine and saw a picture of you at long last. Now I know you better. Thank you for that. I have been reducing my oil quite a bit and yet am still fine, so either I'm healing, or I was overdosing, whatever. It's a strange pursuit, adjusting your own brain chemistry with food. But a good endevour. We need to learn this and keep the knowledge going. I think liking EvPrimrOil is a good thing. I'm happy to hear you do like it. I have had many realizations about this. Basically it repairs damage done by Pitta as well as Wind and Water. As wind and water dry wood, and as oil rubbed on replenishes the woods wholesomeness as a fibre mass, so similarly in us the oil seems to "fill in" and preserve areas which are too dry, from the drying off of water, and application of wind. In this way the oil is like Jupiter, and it repairs damage done by Ketu, Saturn, and in some ways Sun and Mars. I relate the oil to Kapha mostly. But on a deeper astrologically influenced view, I related it to a good Jupiter. Since Jupiter is a great benefic for me, the oil is having more splendrous effects. I am, in essence, a perfect case for this. I am applying the oil to my face and hair and clearly it nourishes these surfaces as well. The oil is my friend. My appetite has decreased, and I am losing some extra unneeded weight. By eating fat, I'm losing it, because it's solving the real problem, which is feeling bad (low Dopamine) and so I don't seek as much endorfin rush as I used to, which is WHY we eat, take drugs, seek love from others, etc. By being whole and healthy, we are more able to be independently happy. This is what I'm finding. Being wholistic as I am, I bought wood block oil, and began applying it to my kitchen vegie chopping boards, which were looking whiter, or grayish, and drying up, splitting apart, and I applied it to my wooden American Indian flutes. In both cases, chop boards and flutes, the items looked better, and healed where they were cracking etc. I saw this effect. I meditated on it, and realized the effects of oil in general in life. It stands in a special place in ourselves, our environments, and life in general. It's rather amazing. I am now taking like just a couple table spoons a day, and I use either Hemp Seed Oil, or Evening Primrose Oil, and I hit the Flax some too. I don't know how long it's been now for me, probably around 20 days. I still feel fine, better than before. No meds, no real problems, still repairing my head, not out of the woods, but steadily improving, this is obvious to me and those around me. My life is greatly improving due to my improving mood. I noticed in a health magazine that these EFA rich oils we're discussing have been found to help with Prostate health in men overall, and this is good, since that gland is the #1 source of trouble for MEN basically. Now the prostate is like Kundalini- it's wrapped around the Urethra tube like a snake, because it is the seet of male energy. It makes, holds, and squirts out the semen. Retention when horny expands it, not good, it's a delicate balance, something men need to understand a bit, and try to master a bit. How to become whole, happy, satisfied, not imbalanced in any way. We have to learn how to master this organ and not get it diseased as is happening so much these days, due to not knowing how to live overall, how to eat, how to love and work with our organs, keep them healthy. We are the cells of human species on the earth surface, and we are hurting the earth, though on it, dependent on it. So our cells are hurting us inside us. Auto-immune diseases, where the body hurts the body, are spreading. Cancer is one of these. We are cancerous on Earth, so we are getting it. It's group karma and individual. The oils help with Prostoglandins, which are named after this gland. Enough Prostoglandins leads to feeling OK. Not enough leads to feeling abandoned basically. Eating for this situation, pursuing it, is related to healing one's base chakra, at least or especially in men. It's very important. This is such an interesting subject. I can't go on right now. This is what I'm finding. Dear Raghu, Thanks for sharing! Here something: At least in South India it is the practice to have an "oil bath" twice a week. You rub sesame oil - sometimes coconut oil - all over the body and let it soak. Drops of oil are put into the ears, eyes and nose - not really pleasant, but apparently good for you. Then you sit in the sun for an hour if you have the time - helps at any rate to build up vitamin D. Then it is all washed off using a natural detergent, the powder of he soap-nut, which leaves a bit of the oil behind and does not dry the skin like soap. This may be a good practice and I am seriousy thinking of doing this now. Sesame oil is not easy to get here but flaxoil may be okay. Or olive oil. Have you any info about olive oil and its properties? It is good for wound healing. Even in Biblical days woungs ere bound with olive oil and wine, to disinfect and to heal. Sunflower oilis also perhaps good - any info? Let us anoint ourselves. regards Mani PS: Being wholistic as I am, I bought wood block oil, and began applying it to my kitchen vegie chopping boards, which were looking whiter, or grayish, and drying up, splitting apart, and I applied it to my wooden American Indian flutes. Is this the same as "black wood oil", which is also a kind of olive oil?
Guest guest
Dear Mani, I have long been a fan of Edgar Cayce and have his readings. He recommended olive oil and peanut oil for "oil bath" or massage or whatever. On one occasion where someone had severe digestive problems he recommended olive oil externally to keep the person from starving. He also recommended peanut oil to help with arthritis. The oil bath sounds wonderful think I will try it too. donna > Here something: At least in South India it is the > practice to have an "oil bath" > twice a week. But olive oil in plenty. In India it is wednesdays and saturdays, for apparently sesame has connections with these planets. Sesame is also connected with the offerings to the departed ancestors. I don´t know if olive oil has such connections. What do you know about ATOMIDIN? For what is it good, how does one take it? Have you investigated Cayce´s astro information? There is a theory that he used the draconic zodiac, starting aries from Rahu! If so, was it for daily life or very esoteric purposes? I can´t get at all the Cayce books at present. regards Mani
