DR means "Das Rave". Hope that's ok. If not, I give it up to more public

wishes.

-----------------------

Dear Sabine,

Fairing well today. Things are going well.

Apparently, there are upward spirals as well as down.

I'm on an upward one, so things all over are improving each other, like if

you improve with your kids, that helps with the ex, then the ex's friends,

your ex friends, begin to like you more again too.

If you change your diet, your mood improves, which makes you more able to go

out and do stuff for other people. They then like you more, and invite you

somewhere. When you go there, you meet someone new, who tells you something

how to improve some part of your life. Then you do that, which helps you to

meet new people all the more.

So the upward spiral I am on now.

The middle point, when the planet stations so to speak, is where the utter

confusion lives, like standing in the doorway not sure which way to go,

forward, backward, etc.

I went forward due to knowing that backward meant more suffering.

It's working. Now the up spiral is happening, and thus it feeds itself.

But there are those who are now dieing, fast or slow. What of that? How does

one live when there is no motivation to go on materially, no hope that some

disease will part. I still have some hope of "a better life", which shows

ignorance and attachment to some degree. (Ignorance of larger truths,

attachment to smaller rewards)

What if this hope is impossible in the intelligent mind of someone slowly

dieing?

They may have to resort to extreme devotions, though at first, these will be

applied with great difficulty, thus some imbalances will show. After some

time, they may get better at being accepting of their gradual demise, which

we all are experiencing currently, but are either aware or unaware of it.

Actually, we are all dieing right now, all getting some heavy diseases right

now, but we're just not aware of it. Inasmuch as so much proceeds the

dropping a bomb, so that preparation stage the victim is unaware of, til the

moment of explosion.

"You have terminal Cancer"

That's the bomb. The gestation for this inside your body is years in the

making, and out of the control of the "experiencee" in fact.

So identity confusions and abandonment (even by God) issues arise as we face

death, and the potential for extreme emotions of self protection and

gratification. That is why it is a fact that depression and addiction are

higher amongst the elderly of all races, as well as higher amongst persons

who experience trauma in life, or high stress.

We are fragile, and want happiness. Note it. We are not meant or constructed

to well handle stress, pain, death, mortality in general. We seem to seek

abundance, love, peace, happiness, pleasure, and so on. We should off these

things to each other.

Dear Das,

I know this was addressed to Sabine, but I'd like, if I may, address a point

that you made....

YOU WROTE:

==========

But there are those who are now dieing, fast or slow. What of that? How does

one live when there is no motivation to go on materially, no hope that some

disease will part. I still have some hope of "a better life", which shows

ignorance and attachment to some degree. (Ignorance of larger truths,

attachment to smaller rewards)

What if this hope is impossible in the intelligent mind of someone slowly

dieing?

=================================

The fact is Das, that from the moment of birth we're all slowly dying, in

the interim we live the life allotted to us and experience the fruits of our

karma, good or bad ...whatever it may be...that's what life in this world is

all about..."maya" (the mind's dream)! Some might be having a good dream,

for others it might be a nightmare. There are some however who see through

the illusion and realise that whatever appears to be happening is little

more than the outer projection of "mind".

The true (inner) self is separate and apart from this worldly

happiness/unhappiness illusion. So what if someone faces a life of disease

and poverty...true happiness is not dependant on worldly success, or bodily

comfort. If it was, then there truly would be no hope for the future...and

what "future" are we talking about anyway...everything must die, everyone

sooner or later wakes up from this dream.

As astrologers we know that the karma we all live through is reflected in

horoscope. Therefore to talk of it freely and openly can aid in our

understanding of astrology...but we should remember that all we're

understanding is someone's karma...the manifestation of mind! Mind creates

our dream and we believe it to be real.... Doesn't jyotish teach us that

it's the passage of Moon (mind) through the nakshatras that determines our

destiny.

The whole purpose of all meditation (or devotional) techniques is to go

beyond the mind, beyond the illusion, beyond the "karma" and experience ones

"true" nature. There are many ways, many Gurus, many methods...but if

practiced diligently all will lead to the same place.

The notion that happiness depends on material, or even bodily, comfort is

false!

The notion that we're bearing our "soul" to another when we "open up" and

confess this or that dark secret is also false...we're not bearing our soul,

we're bearing our Karma, that's all!

A great human weakness I see here (and this applies especially to myself) is

that, for reasons due to conflicting karmas, we can develop likes/dislikes

towards particular individuals. We can then find ourselves focusing on

certain areas of their horoscope and thinking such thoughts as; "Ha! this is

why this person is...(whatever negative thing may be in our mind about

them)"

The notion that "it's just karma" seems to apply more easily when judging

ourself than it does when judging another :-)

I hang my head in shame when I think how I've judged others.

Regards

Wendy

Hi Wendy

You Have nothing to be a shamed of! Your wisdom and kindness is light years

ahead of the average person. To judge is no more then a part of evolution, an

element created by the self induced hypnotic state of individualism which is

left over from the survival instinct, which is created by lack of contemplation

of eternity, which is a normal process in this illusion of life and death.

My grandmother use to say if you lay down with dogs you get up with fleas!

It is our disgust of the fleas that make us evolve, (this is their job) and with

out righteous judgment (Wisdom) we wouldn't know the fleas existed. Bless you my

friend! .......Noel
