thank you for that rave...i felt exactly the same way about the other

jyotish lists...and actually as i told the time-pressured ladies from

Deutschland, the land of time pressure....i prefer YOUR list for just

those reasons you yourself stated in this last ramble....to me as to

you and Mani, and many others i'd like to believe, the philosophy is a

necessary grounding for the Jyotish to work...you can't build a

skyscraper on a sand dune, without taking away some of the sand, and

erecting a majorly strong foundation...to me the foundation of Jyotish

is the Sanatana Dharma, and here we are, us little 3-year old toddlers

having our deep philosophical discussions around our beloved Sanata

Dharma....and without those discussions and that love, the whole thing

would just lack interest to me....

 

in fact, although i signed up to several jyotish lists, this is the

ONLY one i spend any time on because for me it's the only one with any

JUICE...as Stephen Gaskin liked to refer to the Sakti....Your list is

THE one for me...because of the Deep Love of the Divine which just

shines out of it!!and out of your sometimes searing, yet honest, and

compassionate visions....to me this is wonderful sharing, and i

welcome it!!

 

if any body doesn't like they don't have to taste!!!

 

i think that idea of labelling the posts is a good one though...that

way the chart readers can read charts and the nuts can dance their

crazy dance for Sri Krsna!! seeing Him alone as the Entire Universe,

and all the knowledge available including the Sri Jyotir Vidya....

and when Sri Krsna wills, we will learn effortlessly whatever He

desires us to know for the good of His children.....
