Guest guest
Light bends with time. Time and light are not independent. This I can see (I don't need books. If physics says it's true or not, I don't know, I've never studied physics under anybody or any book. So please excuse them if I'm right and they made the mistake of disagreeing. ;-) ) Matter, contains space and energy. Never do we have pure space, or pure energy, in our realm. This is would be "deadly" on all counts. Period. That's why this entire reality, is a subtle balance of energies, including two of which are space and energy. The balance here is very subtle and exact. Time is an illusion or a cofactor or subsequent factor of preceding elements in full. Time exists in the mind and nowhere else. Actually humans see through time. It affects their vision. Pure energy and pure space, both inconceivable. The energy found in atoms, is a result of the energetics of particles we've verified through experimentation. Our theories see that "space" is a part of matter atomicly. Matter is a function of the combining of space and energetics we're starting to atomicly understand and sometimes we make good weapons with our earliest findings. Anyway, pure space means nothingness. That's impossible to "us" since we are "something" at least as currently manifest. Pure energy, also inconceivable, as everything we know is harnessed by a greater surrounding energy of a different type. Pure matter, solid energy, also called pure energy, is what a black hole is, and what scripture says Krishna is. Krishna is like unto the black holes of astronomy. Nothing can escape his attractive force. Shiva and Vishnu are also dark, Syam, Blackish, according to scripture. I know from Puranic Ontological discussions that I can be fairly safe in saying this broad and opporunistic conclusion: The dark gods of Hinduism have also a destructive side, wherein they destroy the manifestation, and then regenerate it, this is Krishna, Vishnu, Shiva, depending on your lineage. Like many I think, I believe we deal with the Shiva/Durga layer of Godhead first, because they surround the Earth's area, embracing it, lording over it, first, then AFTER THEM as you go up, you find the Vishnulokas and lastly Goloka, so from our vantage point, we think we are going out to greater larger layers, but that's Earth Centric, woops, first mistake... no, we coming from outside inwards, towards the central nectar, and we find the layers surrounding the center, first Shiva, large layer, then Vishnu, inside little smaller, then lastly, Krishnaloka in the center. But in truth, we need not go there, as a special singular all-ours place is being generated around us as we speak. We are "growing up" inside the stem of a new flower in God's garden, and our duties and lives all lay ahead in perfect bliss, and we are finding our way into them, inevitably, feeling each bump each step of the way as Divinitys "tough love" embrace teaches us first about what IS NOT GOING TO BE where we are going. Funny guy, he puts the hard stuff first. Not surprisingly, he said to Arjuna, "Hey buddy, remember, what is first like poison, is later like nectar, and vice versa, take it from me". I think that was like "hint hint" big time about "life in general". hey co-monkey \o/ | / \ i love you ps: yes, seeing large circles is an illusion. that is what we end up seeing, when in fact, it is otherwise. you see, reality is as you see it, not as it is, and all this curling into singularity is an illusion, it cuts us off, like being inside a mirror ball christmas ornament, all you see is you all around you in a circle of you, hence your chart is you, whoa, are you ready to go on? The universe and you are one when you're born. Hmmm. What if the universe was a reflection of gods standing around a mirror ball they poured you in carrying their qualities as per their standings from each other in the room? Thereafter, after you're born, the so called planets spin in the so called sky because you think, and your perceptions exactly match the perceptions of all of us here in the void listening to you in the void, talking about our bubbles, thinking they are one, when actually we're each in a ball looking at our own little universes, but we can hear each other, and all our thoughts are matching, like the hand shaking of phone lines from house to house. This goes pretty far if you have a mind for it. The matrix. Get ready. It's trying to tell you something. Don't be frightened, I have Jupiter in the 9th. ;-)

You are only seeing things from a different perspective. I have studied physics at the university. Today I can show that EVERY law of physics is applicable to all human and natural phenomena. All the equations have certain "constants" and variables. These apply to a certain facet or local condition, but if you change them to suit, they become universal. Einstein´s equation for speed is still applicable to determine the speed of a train - for all the complicated factors just become zero for all practical purposes. Be it the growth rate of plants, of ideoöogies or whatever else, you´ll find that fundamental numbers like "pi" or "e" are involved.... Irrational numbers, which we can NEVER depict on any scale, but HAVE TO BE THERE! Pi has to be there between 3.14 and 3.15, but can you ever mark it? When J.C. Bose presented his thesis at the Royal Academy in London he showed pictures of "rections to stimuli". A scientist stood up after seeing a dozen pictures and said, " You are only showing us old stuff! We know how muscles react!" Then came the bombshell: "Sir, these are NOT muscle reactions, but the reactions of plants, metals and mineral crystals!" After that Bose gave a lecture, not so much on physics as on Advaita! We are ONE! Kalapurusha is also Akashapurusha. One of the oldest poems of the Rgveda ends with the question, "Does Vishnu know from whence he came?" We are so use to beginning and end, that we can NEVER understand eternity and infinity. Vishnu accepts this, but does he "understand" it? The search for origins and limits is perpetual and FUTILE! The potter makes the pot from the clay that is there already, does not make the clay! God is the Supreme architect, not the creator of what is, for that which is, has always been there! We must accept that there are questions to which there are no answers at all! Time is an illusion but also true. There is always a division between "has been" and "will be" or "can be". Certainty and uncertainty. We always live at this knife-edge border in between, so does God! (We need his help and our devotion to him, but he needs our love and help!) As you said, the message of the Gita is manifold: one decided to fight and fulfil his dharma as kshatriya, the other ran awy from bloodshed to follow the dharma of peace! Both had to choose between sins: killing or desertion. Who or what was better? Took my car to the workshop for a repair. Took about 15 minutes to fix. Asked what I had to pay. Reply: "Have a nice day! Was nice chatting with you." The only TIME that counts is NOW, when you find a friendly heart. As to getting sun glasses, they are okay if cutting out the blinding glare, but should not lead one to taking a "dim view" of life! regards Mani
