Hi

 

I am a software engineer and I have been studying

Hindu Astrology for the past 5-6 years.

I am planning to develop a complete web based Hindu

Astrology site with an emphasis on predictions,

matchmaking etc which would be freely available for

everyone to access. Even though there are several

astrology related sites, most of them are

commercialized and are not available for

free access.

 

I am comfortable with the predictive part of astrology

but I am not very much into the calculation part of

it. I do have certain astronomical algorithms that

could be used for calculating the planetary positions

but using them I am not able to get the kind of

accuracy and details that I want to achieve. I would

be very grateful to you if you can guide me regarding

where can I get such information or in case you have

any source code and can share the code/logic with me.

 

I can assure you that I want to use it only

for developing a free website and absolutely not for

any kind of commercial purpose.
