The actual theme is not of great interest for me. BUT what you say in general makes me wonder why we had the recent debate at all, seeing that we are both on the same side!!! Was it a transit effect? yours respectfully and with regards, Mani

Let me explain my position thus: While I have my Jyotish guru, and with whose explanations I am quite satisfied (and whose disciplic lineage goes back further than just a few generations), I still recognize and consider what other scholars suggest, even if contrary to his. No one has a corner on the truth, obviously, but we still gravitate to those gurus or authors who inspire the learning process. Anyway, whether or not you accept what Sanjay Rath says, or K.N. Rao, Raman, or whoever, the agreement we have I believe still remains in tact. And that is, that if a principle is presented, whether by this or that guru or author, it should be researched thoroughly before anybody tries to use it with "live" charts. Live charts here refers to giving predictions or advice to people with whose charts the principle might apply. I like your humor re: "10" above as a ballpark minimum, and for sure, if you have the time, go for it with a thousand or a million charts! Another point is, that while in the process of researching a principle, other significant gems can be found. Things just seem to reveal themselves through the cracks in astrology, as you know, and this is particularly one of the joys of researching with numerous charts. Final point: You were right in correcting me about my 24th division chart: 5th lord Saturn is in the 6th, not the 12th is I thought it was from memory. Anyway, that still doesn't change the point I was making, which was that in the 24th division chart in my case, which specifically targets education, the musical education is more poignantly seen through the 4th house and its lord, and not the 5th.
