Namaste,

This is an example of Navamsa predominating. This is the chart of one

of the best fighters in the world. He won the China national (Wu Shu)

Kung Fu championship 6 years in a row. He is now world famous Jet Li.

Mars is debilitated with Rahu in Rasi. I don't have his exact time,

but even if there is Neechabhanga from Juptier, the Navamsa chart

shows his martial ability more clearly. He has Mars exalted with

Mercury making him a master fighter. Conjunction with Ketu makes his

skills intuitive.

Given the two positions separately, there would be no question as to

which is the one necessary for being the best fighter.

However you can see clearly from his rasi chart with 3 exalted

planet, 2 planets in own sign, Rahu and Ketu placed well, and Mars

neechabhaga, that his Rasi is the chart that gave him the rajayoga.

Hello Alex,

Thank you for this example and I apologise at the outset for my constant

contradictions...I mean no animosity, but the great folly (as I see it) in

turning to the navamsha for predictions of Rashi, is that one fails to truly

examine the Rashi itself.

In the chart given, a powerful neechabhanga yoga exists with Jupiter in own

home in 9th conjunct exalted lagnesh dispositor Venus. Further to this is

the yoga formed with Rahu conj. Kendra lord Mars in Asc...Asc is said to be

both a kendra and a trine.

These powerful yogas associated with 5th lord (sports) Mars (sports) in Asc.

is an amazing testament to sporting achievement.

Best Regards

Wendy

Hello Wendy,

I should apologize and make things clear. I have unintentionally

misled people by writing "I do not have the EXACT time"... that

should read "I don't have the time, and am using noon time" sorry for

the slip up, I did not have time to proofread.

Whether there is neechabhanga or not, the debilitation of Mars does

not make the person a fighter, unless there are combinations to

support this. Mercury Mars combination is for skill in fighting, if

the strength of Mars predominates.

There are many more proper examples that can be used to show that the

results attributed to Navamsa can outweigh those of the rasi. But it

is not necessary. The classics are clear on this issue.

HORA SARA

"The results for Rashi and amsha positions have thus been said and

the predictions should be based on whichever is stronger. Should they

be equal in strength one should assume balanced results."

BRIHAT JATAKA

"The birth will occur in places represented by the rising sign or

Navamshas, whichever is powerful."

"The child resembles, in structure and other peculiarities of the

body, the ruler of the rising Navamsha or the Ascendant."

These readings deal with the first house, there are more for the

other houses. But is is the same idea throughout, that either results

predominate depending on strength of planets, charts, etc.

Alex J

Hello Alex and Wandy,

Here I give one of my practical application of Navmasha chart,

Day before yesterday , there was a cut of electricity and mine was a day for

the consultants. A young girl with her mother visited at 10.20 am IST for

some enquiry about her future. Computer was off the vist of this girl's

mother was 3rd visit , so I was not in a mood to refuse her. I tried answer

this girl through Navmasha method instead of KP which is very complicated to

calculate by calculator.

I asked her to give me a no. between 1 to 108. She gave me no.72.

At 30.12.N 75.00.e Gemini was rising in the east.

But by No. I fixed the Ascendant as Sagittarius 0 degree . In natal goes

Mars and Ketu in Ascendant, Venus in 4rth house exalted, Sun in 5th with

combust Mercury ,Jupiter with Saturn in 6th , Moon with Rahu in 7th.

In Navmasha Aries Ascendant , Moon and Mars in Taurus, Jupiter in Gemini,

Sun and Ketu in Leo , Venus in Virgo and Mercury in Libra, Rahu in Aquarius

and Saturn in Pisces.

As per Vishmotary there was Mahadasa of Jupiter in operation and Mercury

antra was to operate upto 22nd October 2001.

Looking at the Mars and ketu in the ascendant , I enquired your face looks

shining but it should be with pimples etc . , She confirmed ,it is due to

medicines and creams , but the condition goes like that if she do not use

medicines.

My 2nd argument was that as you approached me in Mercury antra who is

combust and is under the influence of Sun , though you have partial belief

in Astrology( Jupiter aspecting 10th but is with Saturn) but you had visited

me in the influence of your Mother.

As mercury is in the Navmasa of Venus placed in 4rth exalted.

I enquired though your mother is worried about your marriage , but you are

more worried about your placement , education etc. Also you got very good

results in education without your thought and planning and is now after job.

My observation was that as Mercury is in the namasha of an exalted planet ,

she must have attained good results in the matter of education. She

confirmed that she had passed master's degree during last two years and also

had cleared UGC exams and is now competent for the post of Lecturer.

My prediction was , that present state of confusion will remain , as running

Partayantar is of Jupiter who is in the Navmasha of a combust planet. Saturn

last sub-sub lord in Mercury antra is in the navmasha of Jupiter placed in

6th and Saturn is in 12th house in Navmasha chart , so it will also give

good results , may give a temporary job. Ketu is in Leo Navmasha , whose

lord is exalted in 5th in the Natal may provide a Govt. job. It will be

Venus who may give marriage , not because he is exalted , or he is in

Pushkar Navmasha. It is because his Navmasha lord is in 7th in Navmasha

chart , but as it is combust , there will be many if and but's , but the

after the sub sub periods of Venus in Venus , i.e.Sun , Moon and Mars are

very strong , due to their connection with powerful planets in Rashi through

Navmasha.

Those who can understand may do practical with this in there day to day life

..
