Guest guest
namaste~ martial blemish refers to kujadosha, correct? in my case, been told that both myself and partner have kujadosha...is that double trouble? this one has mars in 12th/jupiter in 7th... partner has venus/mars in 7th... would welcome insight, thanks in advance. aria lostinmotion gjlist gjlist [gjlist] Re: what does it mean martial blemish? Wed, 25 Apr 2001 22:35:26 -0000 Namaste Elif, This martial/martian blemish refers to the placement of Mars in one of the houses 1/4/7/8/12. Some include 2nd house in this scheme. Mars as a violent and angry planet will damage the house it rests in. All of these house have either to do with the wife, her longevity, or domestic happiness, so the affliction here is undesireable for smooth marital relations. BPHS "The woman born becomes widowed if Mars is in the 12th, 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th from the ascendant and is unaspected by or associated with any benefics." If Mars is placed conjunct a benefic, exchanges with a benefic, or is aspected by a benefic, or has benefics in the 2nd and 12th house from his position, then the yoga does not operate strongly, and can only cause slight discord. Likewise the position of Mars in a benefics Rasi and Navamsa reduces the severity of the combination. "The combination which causes the woman to become a widow also causes a male native to become a widower. If a man and woman possessing this combination join in marriage, the combination ceases to have effect." Ideally there must be the same type of combination in both charts to cancel the yoga exactly. 7th house affairs are also seen from the Moon. So also see if this blemish exists from the Moon ascendant. If one chart has it from the Moon and the other the ascendant, then this will also cause cancellation. However there is no need to dwell on this one point. This is just a singular combination that can be overpowered by other strong marriage factors in the chart. If the 7th house is particularily strong in disposition, as are the karakas for marriage and the dasas are favourable, and the compatability is high, then this blemish will not take full effect, but only result in some harsh words or disagreements, or other rectifiable situations. regards, Alex J gjlist, "Elif Gunes" <elifgunes@s...> wrote: > > - > Elif Gunes <elifgunes@i...> > <gjlist> > 26 Nisan 2001 Perþembe 23:11 > what does it mean martial blemish? > > > > mars in the 12nd house is it martial blemish in a man chart? > > what does it mean ? > > and could be a problem in realitonship with a woman -free from martial > > blemish her chart-? > > > > thanks, > > > > woman birth data ;19.oct.1972 istanbul turkey 09:55 AM EET > T.zone;-2:00 > > man birth data ; 02.february.1969 karabuk turkey 03:00 AM EET > > T.zone;-2:00 > > > > Elif GÜNES > > > > e mail ; elifgunes@s... > > web site; www.welcome.to/elifshome > > gjlist- Your use of is subject to _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

Guest guest
Dear Aria, Dont lay too much emphasis on placement of Mars in houses connected with marriage i.e., 1/4/7/8/12. Few days back, I had posted a chart and in that chart, Mars is placed in the 7th house and is in the house of Venus. Now the personal relationship of Mars and Venus is well known. The lady got married in 1986 and is still living with her husband. No problems there. Examine this : Mars placed in Lagna aspects 7th house & 8th house besides the 4th house. Mars placed in 4th house again aspects 7th house Mars placed in 7th is conjoining the 7th house Mars placed in 8th is aspecting the 2nd house Mars placed in 12th again aspects the 7th house. Mars, the fury, getting connected with houses of marriage is what created this confusion called "Kuja Dosha" or Mangal Dosha. Astronomically, nearly 1/3rd of people born in a month are most likely to have this Dosha. Then, do all of their partners die ? Out of this, the placement of Mars in especially the 8th house is considered particularly bad. But what happens, if Mars is placed in these signs which are either his own, or friend's signs or the sign of exaltation. Does the Mars dosha still exists and does it exists in full potency. Specially if this Mars, in such a placement, receives the aspect of Jupiter, then. According to me, the maleficence of Mars is subdued but then their is an other school of thought that Jupiter is a planet of expansion and hence the propensity of maleficence of Mars would increase further. I dont to this expansion theory. Hope it clarifies things and please do not worry about placement of Mars in the 7th house as he has to be placed somewhere in the chart and has to dispense justice as per work assigned to him by your past karmas. So why bother ? regards, Manoj _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.

Hi all! Since the kujadosha rule seems to make most of us snakes, let us live together as Inder Jit says. I won´t bite you or swallow you! But I don´t agree with Inder Jit about "cancelling". I think it only means standing up to, counteracting etc. If both partners have this dosha they will quarrel, but kiss and make up or just tolerate each other. Harmony is not achieved. regards Mani

Guest guest
Dear Mani, In Hindus parents are most afraid of Kuja Dosa , I did not elaborate it fully as it was already described by MUNMUN, As for harmony is concerned , it is my general belief that arguments once in a week is healthy sign, if these are daily and result into disagreement , better divorce and if no arguments , no conflicts between the husband and wife, then some one is cheating or is trying to cover some of his negative points. Others may differ to it, and this is not astrology. For Kuja dosa some says the effects does not happen after 28, and some counteract it with the statement that snake remain poisonous even in his old age. I make that comment in the same contest. Also suppose Two Kujadosha persons are marrying two non kuja Dosa persons In fact I don't believe that this will happen , if one will have Kuja Dosa other may have equal defect in his chart , either to balance this dosa , or will have short age factors, or factors for divorce or bad married life) Four persons are spoiled . Marriage between kuja dosa persons balance the defect of each other , reducing the numbers of effected persons, counteracting may be the right word, but literary it will again mean canceling. Kuja dosa can be counteracted by other person's Sun , Saturn or Rahu in 1,4,7,8 and 12. Much has been explained by Mun Mun. Hi, Mani, This is late but am still paying catch-up. The first thing I read actually about Kuja Dosha is that the person who has it it likely to be abused in some way. But you know what? I see Kuja dosha in more charts than not--among personal friends and so forth. We almost all have it! Don't know all the cancellation details, however.
