The given Birthdata: Date of Birth: May 19, 1953 Time of Birth: 4:45:00 am Time Zone of Birth: 6:00 West of GMT Longitude of Birth: 90 W 03 Latitude of Birth: 35 N 09 Lagna is 1:04 Taurus. In Rasi; 5th house is occupied by Retrogade Saturn, as its lord is in 12th. This indicates delay or denial of childbirth, also there won't be many issues. Venus is exalted and gives Rasi Dristi on 5th house and saturn, giving strength to produce a child, as Venus rules the Mrityunjaya mantra. Due to Saturns limitations i'd say one child. In Saptamsa; Lagna is Scorpio.. Its important to also know the sex of the individual for some finer predictive purposes, but i'll continue. As Lagna is an even sign we should count the various childbirths in reverse, hence 5th house becomes 9th. As first child is seen from 5th house, we look to 9th house, which is Cancer. Cancer is aspected by Moon and Venus. No malefic associations seem to deny a child. The sex of the child is seen from the lord of the 9th house, which is Moon. Moon is in an earth sign with Deb-Jupiter and Saturn in trines, hence i believe the Sun sign is Capricorn. I was so fascinated by your analysis for the sex of children I wanted to ask if you would mind doing one for my own chart. I am 38 and have no children, currently i am debating if this will occur or not, and wonder the sex of the child(ren), for this is a concern for me. I have been told by some that i will definitely have a child, and by others that it may or may not occur, that the chart does not indicate for sure. I will be going into Jupiter Dasa in 2 and one half years; it is PK for my chart, and rules the 5th in rasi chart. HOwever, I am currently in rahu/moon, rahu in 9th, moon ruling 9th and moon ruling 5th in navamsa. The topic of children is strong for me now, and i feel i need to make a decision soon ( as if i have a say in the matter, that is!) I followed your analysis and tried it for my saptamsa, but i am not adept enough to read the results! My data is as follows, if yoiu have the time to look me up. I wrote to him too so maybe that is where my email became involved. In looking at your chart, however, I see you would only have a child if you are married. If married you would almost certainly have one girl, and could possibly even have two more children after that. Would be interesting to know what Visti has to say about your chart. This chart is for a friend of mine. And much is correct. She did have to delay childbirth, and has only one child, a son. After that she was unable to have any more children. Although her son was born in Virgo, September 17, 1985.
