air crash--propaganda and truth--just once more--i promise!!

Once when I was in college "working" (it was fun) as an usher for the

Arts programs, we had an orchestra from Yugoslavia. The college is called

Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Once the audience was seated

and the show was on, we were allowed to sit in the back and watch to our

hearts' content. One of the musicians slipped down in the seat beside me

about midway through the performance and we had a most fascinating

conversation. He was very excited to be in the USA, and the college campus

was quite beautiful in the spring. We were right in the middle of

Come-See-Me Week, with azaleas and wisterias and all sorts of flowers

blooming all over the place. He asked me a question I 've never forgotten.

He said, quite happily with no negative inflection whatsoever, "Do you have

any propaganda about Rock Hill?"

I got a big smile from that, went to the office and got him all sorts

of beautiful brochures and newletters and such--all the local attractions,

scenic, beauteous, and just fun stuff to do --and he was so delighted to

have this treasure trove of propanganda. He and his buddies from Yugoslavia

had a great time, he told me at the next night's performance.

It was propaganda, you know. But he was a joyous young man and what

a great spirit!

I didn't like the results of the last election, GW was not elected

by the majority of the people, but you know what? Sometimes you just have to

muster your spirit, accept that reality happens, we can't always have things

our way, get over it, and move on. Enjoy the beautiful spring even if there

is propaganda, be happy with the joy in your life, be sad with the sorrows,

be filled with awe at the wonders God created, don't focus so much on the

silly egos of man.

my humble apologies if i ruffled any patriotic feathers in my friendly

neighbours to the south....but i just couldn't let those innocent,

naive ideas continue to be passed off as genuine currency.

puts a lot more perspective on the matter...for further information of

this posting...as it is intended to put "PAID" to the accounts

previously opened on international "policy"...and "procedure"...

side of these kinds of stories....and their stories are often written

by former US military (Special Forces) or diplomatic, or CIA

types...who actually saw the discrepancy between public propaganda and

the facts of the matter at hand...

if we are silly enough to believe what the Media tells us is true, we

are more naive than our own two-year old children, and

grandchildren...we must merely remember WHO is giving us this news,

and WHAT they stand to gain from it...our naivete around such issues

only confirms that their policy is the correct one...and that it

WORKS....DEMOCRACY is NEVER the issue....STABILITY for the super rich

and their friends IS the issue...around which ALL wars are

fought...especially the punitive, "police" actions of the last hundred

years or so....just check out those sites...and go browsing if you

dare......

 

this is one reason i do not watch television...or listen to the

radio...and am very selective in internet browsing...Jyotish, and

spiritual themes are the main productive areas....all the rest leaves

a faint taint, a slightly nauseating aftertaste of corruption....

 

just another reason to remain uninterested in politics or the

news...and another good reason to study Jyotish even more

deeply....Jyotish will tell us about the facts of the matter quite

dispassionately...as i said earlier...check out the Bush inauguration

chart....it speaks VOLUMES for what i said....the chart doesn't

lie...althought the interpretor may...

 

Amma says that the rich people are DIRECTLY responsible for the

poverty in the world...and that they are the reason so many are

starving...and that if they wanted to, a handful of the very rich

in India could EASILY remove the poverty of the lowest classes,

without even feeling the effects of the money being removed from their

coffers...She holds them entirely responsible for the way things are,

and says that if they don't help the poor, as is our duty to the

Divine, that they will be guilty of grave misdoings...which they will

have to Pay for later...

 

We are not here to amass fortunes at the expense of the poorer

folks...we are here to SERVE the poorer folks....and if we think

otherwise, we are actually living the lives of those whom Lord Krsna

came to DESTROY so many years ago...in this child's mind, actually

things are very much like that time...the Asuras are overrunning the

earth and promoting adharma...promoting drugs, and sex, and rock and

roll..power, money, and fast cars....just think about it my

friends...are we the very people that Beloved Lord Krsna warned us

against?

 

Now...no more about it...this is really a Jyotish list and shouldn't

be another vehicle for Amerikan Kapitalistic propaganda....(not that

i'm implying that the Jyotish list members are in on the

proceedings...it's more like we, the people are the ones who are

routinely lied to...and taxed to support these big money

interests...who also own ALL the Media outlets....) After all, isn't

Government merely an organised, legal extortion ring...supporting and

supported by the Kapitalists??...

 

thus i take refuge entirely at the Blue Lotus Feet of my Beloved

Deity, my Mother of the Universe, my dear Kali Ma...knowing that She

Alone, is the foundation of all the worlds...and that clinging to Her

feet, i shall at least have gained that...the unutterable bliss of the

refuge in Her....

 

May that Mother bless us all with discriminating wisdom, that we may

see the truth of things rather than the perverted lies which are

foisted upon us....

 

May that Mother indeed bless us with the desire to merge in Her, and

give us the strength to pursue sadhana with that eventual aim...

 

May that Mother and Lord Ganesha remove all obstacles in our paths,

and allow us to live a Dharmic, Sattvic, Spiritually inspired life,
